This house is very cozy and well stocked. The owners added nice personal touches - banana bread, wine, chocolates by the beds! The views were beautiful and the location was excellent. It felt remote, but was only about 15 minutes from town. Loved all of the bird feeders - really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching th birds.Great stay!

Stunning views…quiet solitude

Perfect location, great place to relax at the end of the day. We loved watching the deer. The guest house is completely stocked with everything you need. Beds are super comfy and they have plenty of towels. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Lucky Star Ranch is a Star!

Lovely stay in Texas High Country. The cottage is just right. The tasteful decor and thoughtful amenities made for a comfy place to come "home" to. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Will stay again.

Rooms with a view

We were 3 couples staying at Lucky Star Ranch guest house and we couldn’t have ask for a better stay. Plenty of wildlife to view, very clean house and very comfortable. Just a short drive into town and the views from the front porch were amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

Heavenly Peace and Quiet

My husband and I were looking for a place to escape the city. This was it! The house was on top of a hill, overlooking a pasture. The owner did an amazing job of setting up several types of feeders to attract different types of birds. I had my coffee on the porch in the morning, then we rested there again in the late afternoon. The house was well decorated and comfortable. Even though the kitchen was small, it was designed to make it easy to cook a meal. Whether it was Fredericksburg, Stonewall or the wineries, everything was only about 20 minutes away. Hands down, I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend House with a View!

Great house for a getaway, wonderful way to enjoy the the country life for a weekend. Perched up on the hilltop providing an incredible view of the countryside. The house is clean and comfortable.

Beautiful Ranch

Very smooth check in. Place was very clean with nice furnishings both indoors and outdoors. The views were fantastic from the house . Lots of deer and longhorns would visit daily ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

We love this place - just what we needed

This was the perfect getaway for us. The home was spotless, comfortable, and cozy. The attention to detail was unmatched. I especially loved the homemade banana walnut bread, the nightlights throughout the home, the non-generic toiletries, and the wonderful, welcoming pups each morning on the porch. We felt at home, we got the rest we needed, and we were close enough to town to enjoy all that Fredericksburg has to offer. We will absolutely stay here again.

Our new favorite place near Fredricksburg

This is a wonderful location. Close enough to Fredricksburg, but not too close. The natural bearuty of the place is amazing. My wife loved all the bird feeders and the small herd of longhorn cattle that roamed across the fence. It was clean, quiet, and had plenty of room.

Best of Texas Hill Country

Pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. The location is stunning. The home is warm, welcoming and comfortable inside and out. We Loved the daily sightings og the Longhorns, Deer, and the owners dogs. Close enough to town to enjoy it, and far enough away to enjoy the peaceful setting.

Amazing Place

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for a 50th birthday getaway. The house was accurately described, and we absolutely loved it! They said whenever we are back in FBG, we will only stay here. From the yummy banana bread, nice bottle of wine, this place has everything you need and more. The beds were the most comfortable beds ever. Thank you for being such great hosts, and we can't wait to come back!

Peaceful!

We knew the moment we drove up the road to the house, it was special! The sweet dog greeting us was the icing upon the cake. While it was cold and cloudy, each morning we watched the sunrise across the expanse- amazing. thank you ! It was a special place and I am deeply grateful we took a chance and stayed there!!
