Great location - walking to downtown shops, restaurants, Pacific War Museum. Room was a little tired - overpriced.
i have stayed at hampton inns before but due to covid the breakfast was not worth it other than that it was fine
Property was great except the floors are apparently very thin/poorly insulated. We (everyone in the family) were woken up both of the mornings we stayed there by the sound of the people above us walking around. It was very, very loud! Too bad, because breakfast was great, room was clean, we all love the cookies and coffee in the lobby. If we go back, we will ask for top floor room only.
nice comfortable hotel and convenient to the area. personnel very friendly and accommodating
Excellent room, spacious. I especially appreciated the shower... spacious, great nozzle, and very soft water.
Enjoyed our stay, great location, clean rooms. The walls were pretty thin, so we heard our neighbors next door pretty clearly as well as the footsteps of the folks above us. Staff was great, pool is nice
We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn as it was very clean, rooms were nice with great view and location perfect for walking and shopping! Staff was very pleasant and professional and loved the pool area...great!.,
The location was nice, the room was clean and the free breakfast was wonderful. On the other hand my wife hurt her back sleeping in the bed (nothing serious) and the check in staff was a little curt. Overall though we had a great stay and would come back.
Everything was great. I did however talk w/ the staff about the rear entrance handicap-able ramp. If a person has anything other than an 18inch wide wheelchair, the back ramp is dangerous. When negotiating the turn from the ramp to the door, one might tip over due to the 4 inch drop-off on the way to the door. They assured me that they would take a look at that problem.
Great Staff!!! They were very helpful when I needed an ADA compliant tub seat. The suite was spacious and very easy to move around when using my wheelchair. The only drawback was the rear entrance ramp & access to the hotel from that entrance. A larger wheelchair would have toppled when transitioning from the ramp to the door. Hopefully the staff will have that fixed by our next stay next year.
Great location. Walking distance to everything on Main St.
I think it's ok,I can't say anything special & overpriced
Checking was a breeze. Broke a glass and someone was up to the room to clean it up within minutes. Quiet, great bed, great all around. Will stay here from now on!
This Hampton is in a great locale in Fredericksburg, TX for a stay over shopping trip. This is not the best Hampton I have stayed. The morning staff were very pleasant and helpful. The evening person was not. She was rude and condescending. Have not ever had an experience like that at any hotel - let alone a Hampton. The hotel is clean, the pool is outdoors and looks nice (did not use it). The furniture in the rooms are not comfortable and could use updating. I would recommend for the location and cleanliness.
The staff was better than great! Room was very nice, clean. Outside pool, gazebo, sitting area was very comfortable. Just stayed one night but would definitely stay again.
very very nice hotel, just a little too expensive. Everything else seems to be perfect
When the hotel is overpriced to begin with, you expect just a little of the comforts. No tub, just a shower. No microwave-no refrigerator. Placed us as far away from civilization as possible. We will not stay there again. Too bad. Most Hamptons have been a good experience. Watch out for this one.
