The room was extremely clean and check in was quick staff friendly and accomodating...

Nice hotel. It was clean, well maintained for the price.

We went to this location on a business trip and normally stay at another hotel. We decided this time to stay at the Fairfield and are glad we did. The bed was comfortable, even thought we brought our own pillows, the shower and bathroom were great, lots of serious hot water. The internet was fast and easy to connect too. The only complaint was the breakfast. We got there on the 2nd of January and it seems the holiday crowd at most all the breakfast foods except for what they could restock from the local Wally World. The staff was embarrassed by this and we totally understand. Otherwise, it was a great hotel and we will stay there again.

Excellent breakfast, pool and exercise facillities.

Our room wasn’t ready on time, but they were very nice about it,

Friendly Staff & very clean.........................................

The lady that tended the breakfast was so sweet. Always waiting on you. Have never had that kind of service at any other hotel. The check in went smoothly and the girls doing it were friendly. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. All and all we could not have asked for a better place to stay.

They really need to hire some additional housekeeping staff. Trying to run a hotel that is booked to capacity and being short handed is problematic.

For a place to stay just a night or two was perfect for us

Excellent experience at the hotel. The only problem that I had was when I made the reservation through Expedia, a computer error resulted in the reservation being made for late July instead of late June and Expedia charge me an extra $40-$50 to the correct the computer error.

The hotel was reasonably close to downtown Fredericksburg but we were hoping to be within walking distance of Main Street and this hotel is not. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and quiet. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. My only complaint was during breakfast, which was apparently very popular as it was very busy when we went down. I did not see any staff cleaning up or replenishing supplies so at one point there was no coffee creamer and no utensils like coffee stirrers and forks. I ended up using a spoon for everything. Also the waffle machine did not have a non-stick spray can to spray the machine before pouring batter in making it difficult to retrieve your waffle once it's finished cooking. All minor issues that can be easily fixed. Upon check-out, there was no one at the counter for several minutes, yet I could see into a small office where a woman whom I assume to be a manage because she was sitting behind a desk, was clearly talking to someone. She didn't once look out or acknowledge that I was standing at the front desk even though I'm sure she could see me as I could see her. While I stood waiting, another guest came to the front desk and we stood waiting for someone to come out and help us. Finally, the front desk assistant walked out of the office to help us.I just thought that was poor customer service to make paying customers wait at the front desk while the manager has a conversation with the front desk assistant.

This hotel is more appropiate for the business traveler or large families looking to share a comfortable suite. For tourists looking for the Texan wine experience, I would suggest to stay in a hotel that is more representative of the area than the Fairfield. Frederickson is full of charming cottages and Inns. This hotel counted with the ammenities expected from a mid-level suite hotel from a Marriott chain. However, at $273.00 per night I expected a bit more of a better experience or maybe a bit of local flair. Overall, the stay went well, my main comment is that I felt I could have received more for my money had I gone elsewhere. The service was okay but not 4 stars, or 3.5 stars for that matter. The room toiletries and supplies were skimpy. We requested extra shampoo as we were three girls and only had one tiny shampoo and conditioner in the suite and received in response another single tiny shampoo. The coffee was also limited. We requested more and received one tiny bag. We requested sugar and received one pack. Maybe we should have been more specific. Last but not least, cleanliness wasn't as expected. Again, nothing unbearable but it wasn't an experience at all, just a place to sleep. I would have felt satisifed at $120 per night. For the price, I would recommend that they step it up a notch as the average price per night in several cozy suite accomodations in Frederickson is usually $150.00 per night for an entire cottage.

Nice place for a stay in historic Fredericksburg, TX.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious...if only I could have a shower like that at home! There was a good variety at breakfast...no reason to leave hungry! We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself was wonderful. Very clean and everyone at front desk were very friendly and helpful, but while we were there my bottle of Parfum was stolen from my room and that ruined my whole weekend. We met our children in Frederickburg for Thanksgiving holiday weekend and the fact that someone stole from my room upset me terribly and ruined it for me. Vickie Spurlock

We were able to check into the room a little early which was nice. The room was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I did not like that they charged your card $20.00 for incidentials. I was advised that they needed my card for incidentials but was not advised that the card would actually be charged $20.00 and then credited back once we checked out. The breakfast was very disappointing. They ran out of most everything and the area was messy/dirty.

This must be a new property. Excellent condition and rooms were great. Luxury bedding and linens. Its like a W but its not.

The room was more than spacious. Free continental breakfast in a clean dining area. The parking was easy and felt safe. Not too far from the main strip, just out of the way. The only downside is the pool was indoors and very small. Which didn't matter much when we stayed because it rained the whole time anyway. Service was great and the room was clean. Would stay here again!
