The hotel needs some improvements. This isn’t really a resort but it is a nice hotel. The overall ambiance is good and the rooms are divided in little villas. Don’t expect the golf course crossing the villas or anything like that. Instead the are paved roads that connect them. Between each house has a little swimming pool that can be used by anyone. The improvements I’ve mentioned above are: - swimming pool treatment. Way too many chemicals - better room cleaning - drastic improvements on the buffet restaurant and swimming pool restaurant - jacuzzis need some improvement too. A bit aged. - most of the employees are really nice but few ones are extremely arrogant and pretty much useless. On the flips side the agents from the tourist office are really nice, other employees are gentle and the kids recreation staff are fun. Location is convenient too. Overall the 1-week vacation was nice but, as per above, it could have been better.
Great stay, very close to the falls. did not even had some golf because our stay was too short. the room was very comfortable and the breakfast very good especially with the delicious tapioca and egg station
Enjoyed this modern resort. Its a bit out of town, but taxis are cheap and seem plentiful. Great breakfasts. Food at other times was satisfactory. Very clean and well appointed. Very few staff speak much English.
Good clean resort which is excellent base for Iguazú Falls Self contained with three restaurants and swimming pool Good bit out of town so would need taxi. Security conscious with armed guards at gate. Own golf course for tennis and also golf football
This hotel will not disappoint, but will also not impress, unless it is for the golf course or child care activities. I think that during our three days less than 5% of guests used the golf course, so probably the other 95% of guests paid a 20-30% premium on the price to pay for unused golf grounds anyways. The experience is decent 4-star, but falls quite short to come close to a 5-star experience to justify the price. Breakfast buffet is OK, but standard. Praise for waiting staff and Italian restaurant on site. General service details show room for improvement, so more a management issue coupled with business positioning. Electricity cuts 3 times a night with emergency lighting automatically switching on in your room, waking up everybody? Staff making the rounds at 4:48 with noisy cars 2 metres from your room? Again waking up everybody. Asking specifically to call a taxi (taxi stand just outside the gate), but sending your ‘premium’ hotel transport instead? Swimming pool allowing groups of guests to throw their own parties with each their own boombox music, disrespecting other guests? For USD 300 per night we deserve to expect better.
This is a large and well appointed hotel with a golf course and associated facilities. The rooms are large and modern and the pool area very nice indeed. However, the bar at the pool had the worst service we have ever encountered!! A comedy of errors - wrong food, slow service and very little English spoken. It must be said that little English is spoken in the entire hotel so rudimentary Portuguese/Spanish is strongly recommended. If you are a golfer you wont be disappointed. The course is challenging but not 'crazy tough'. The fairways and greens are well maintained. The cost is about the same as in the UK. The hotel is ideal for those visiting the falls and the nearby bird park - worth a visit!
Great stop over to visit Iguassu falls.Resort style with spacious villas and a very attentive staff. We were there only for a few days, but I enjoyed it very much.Especially the 18 hole championship course,of course I was the only one out there and it did get kind of hot.I would recommend it highly for a Golf getaway or Conventions. The food was excellent and they always had plenty.
What a great hotel with sprawling golf course and big rooms. The swimming pool was nice the staff very friendly. It is more for golfers wanting to have a golf trip the rooms had 2 double beds with a balcony
This is a very nice hotel set in extensive grounds. Our bedroom was located in a block containing 10 self contained rooms. The rooms were very comfortable although the various light switches were confusing and it took some experimenting to suss them all out. It was very dark on arrival and for some strange reason the signs containing the number of the block were not illuminated although patches of nearby grass were. The border between the path and the grass differed in places by several inches and my wife fell off hurting her ankle. Better edge illumination should be considered. There was a good shower but no bath and, frustratingly no plug in the sink so washing clothes was tricky and wasteful. The dining room at times was very noisy as there were no soft surfaces and one of our group likened it to a canteen. The wine measures were mean and the food nothing special. The TV picture in the room was poor. Hot tubs shared between several blocks and nice swimming pools although we did not have time to use them.
Very nice hotel & resort, just 7 Km from Iguaçu Falls. It's like a Villa, with a main building with restaurants, reception, bar. And 23 guest houses with 8 apartments each. Besides it is a Golf Club, for those who love the sport. The rooms are new and cosy, staff very polite and receptive. Food is average, buffet style, don't wait for gourmet meals. There is a nice pool, sauna, fitness, a pond where you can try some fishing with the kids, bikes for guests (free), walking path, kid's club. On saturdays they prepare ribs in "gauchos" style, that is a typical southern style where they make a barbecue of entire bovine ribs with ground fire or "fogo de chão".
