If you enjoy unique places, Destino is a MUST DO! The photos are exactly what you get - no unpleasant surprises. The villa we stayed in for 3 nights has 2 bedrooms, each with an ensuite toilet and sink. Each has access to 2 showers, an indoor and an outdoor. The infinity pool was a fabulous way to cool down and relax after a day of hiking. The kitchen was fully equipped for four people with full sized fridge, gas oven and stove, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, small drip coffee machine, stove top expresso maker, and a ricemaker. There's air conditioning that we used only at night for sleeping. Dining is el fresco with wonderful views from the deck. Orlando was an excellent communicator and was super helpful and accommodating.
The location is a little off the beaten path, but honestly, that's definitely part of the charm! The dirt road is steep in places, but absolutely no issues in our rented rear wheel drive Toyota Rush. The landscape is fun to explore, with plenty of kilometers to walk. There is a view of the Rio Blanco and a path/steps down to it for those who are able.
You don't want to miss a stay at Destino!
