The service, grounds and food are all amazing. I am beyond thrilled with my experience. Great place to travel to!

Rio Padrio is absolutely a mini heaven!!! Breathtaking views, modern bungalows that are clean, private and sexy, Friendly and helpful staff the second you enter! Good drinks and good food! 5 Stars if you ask me. I would recommend this place to anybody. P.S the yoga was divine!!

The little cabin was great! It felt secluded in the forest and we enjoyed it very much. The property had great food and service. It was awesome to see Howler monkeys out in the open living near by!

Very modern and beautiful! I did not like the lack of light in some of the thermal walkways or area.

Rio Perdido is easily my favorite place Ive ever been to! Seriously, it is that great. Everything from the amenities to the staff to the nature surrounding you. I cannot say enough good things. I recommend staying at least 2-3 days to be able to enjoy everything they have to offer. Everyone spoke good english, the staff were all friendly, and the tour guides were knowledgeable. The manager was also very accommodating, and even upgraded my room! If you love nature, you have to come visit. The hot spring river is to die for, the walking and biking trails are world class, they have amazing zip lines and views, and even saw some monkeys hanging out in the trees. Overall, this is a bucket list place to visit for sure

This place was by far the nicest place I’ve stayed at in Costa Rica! The thermal river was such an amazing experience! There trails right there you can hike. Howler monkeys were literally having breakfast with us! Most amazing experience hands down!!!

Amazing place and amazing people. Had a great time staying there. Thermal river was an amazing! You defiantly don't want to miss out on the zip-line and the tubing adventure if you stay here

Must see and do! The road in is sketchy, just keep going you'll get there and it is so worth it. Monkeys and mud baths and thermal rivers and exploring and posh dining and healing. Get some!

Had a great time. Very good ziplining team, good food, great atmosphere.

Hotel was professionally run staff was excellent. Facility was well kept. However the road to the hotel was very very bad you could easily have a flat tire or lose an oil pan . This is nothing a few days with a road grader wouldn't cure. I am surprised that the owner wouldn't invest in improving this road. During my visit to Costa Rica I traveled in and around Monte Verde and Arenal and saw some bad roads but this was the worst. Thanks Jim

My family and I (wife & 3 kids, 10, 14, 17) stayed here for 3 nights and it was great. It is very quiet (only 20 rooms total) with an on-site, open air restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was terrific for the entire stay (they all learned our names very quickly once on site). If you enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, zip-lines, mountain biking, river tubing) this place is wonderful. Be aware that it does require a decent amount of mobility to get around the grounds so if you don't like hiking/walking this likely isn't the place for you. It isn't the easiest place to get to but it isn't terrible either and the drive is worth the destination. The thermal swimming pools were beautiful, the river gorge and thermal spring was great, and the scenery was some of the best I have every seen. It is warm and humid, bring a few extra sets of clothes to change into for each day (there is laundry service available for $), some good hiking shoes, bug spray, swimsuit, and your sense of adventure.

This place is a bit remote, you're not going to "walk" into town here. But you really have no need to. There are only 20 rooms and the service is 5 star. With three pools, spa, restaurant and various adventure packages on the property, I didn't feel the need to go outside of the resort. The zip-ling and tubing were great fun and SOOO beautiful. I stayed here two nights after visiting other areas of Costa Rica. Next time I'd stay at least one additional night to just hang by the pool and enjoy the spa. I almost hate to say it...but I recommend highly.

The rooms and grounds are great (keep in mind it is arrid here). The thermal Springs were a great way to begin and end our days. This place is great if you want activity, great if you just want to lay around. The food is particularly good, drinks are made fresh, etc. we were impressed!

We loved this resort. It was beautiful and a great relief from the stress and the grind of the city. I loved the thermal river. I wish they focused more on local food as their Costa Rican food was much better than the Americanized food. Other than that it, was perfect.

Great place for couples or family. Friendly staff throughout the entire stay. Plenty of activities and nice towns nearby. We used our rented car every day. Everything was great only things I can say to consider are the wifi didn't reach in our room and the lunch and dinner menu are the same every day.
