This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. The sink was dirty, the rugs are torn and faded, the tub had stains in it. There was no hot water. The door was missing the security latch. I had to sleep with a chair in front of the door. I barely got any sleep. The people in the room above decided to have a drinking contest on the balcony. I was grateful to have only spent one night here and I really didn't want to do that. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Staff was very helpful and friendly I just felt the hotel had cleaning issues and needed a bunch of repairs and upgrades in keeping with the surrounding hotels.
Room definitely needed some work. Night stand didn't have a drawer (missing), bathroom was hanging off the screws, half inch gap under room door and floor that allowed easy entrance for bugs, no alarm clock and a half functioning tv. Wasn't the most pleasant room I've stayed in but served its purpose of sleeping.
This was a very nice place to stay for the weekend. It was clean and modern but had a low price.
Staff in reception was not friendly. Unfortunately we booked a smoking room and they could not change it. But that was our mistake. Charging 25 c for ice ???
The hotel and staff were great! We booked a last minute trip for my daughter's 16th bday to this hotel site unseen and had never been to Fort Walton before. It was extremely clean and the staff was helpful with getting to the local eateries. Thank you for a very pleasant and memorable trip with my daughter!
The room was outdated, very far from the actual beach. On one specific night there was an incident in which we went down to the pool and there was a suspicious thing floating around in the pool, we notified the receptionist and she said there was nothing she could and the pool cleaning person wouldn't be there until the next day, the pool remained opened and she did not bother to even close it down due to the thing floating in there. We then asked for towels and received attitude when provided with some. That was very unprofessional and she seemed annoyed. I also think it is way overpriced for the money paid. Had I known the conditioned and I would have paid the extra money and booked closer to destin. Will definitely NOT be staying there again.
Not bad for a night, friendly staff. Rooms were okay and we had everything we needed.
We stayed here because our condo was not yet ready. The hotel room was dirty and I was scared for my safety every time I went outside.
I was suppose to have a non-smoking room. Well, you could tell that it had been smoked in for years because it had that old bar smell but they tried to cover it up by pulling put the carpet and putting hardwood floors. That did not work. Plus, the floors were far from clean. We had to make sure we had shoes on when walking or else you feet or socks were black. The walls at the top of the shower needs work. The door to the room looked like it had been bashed in from the inside and I did not feel safe. The lady at the front desk needed a lesson or 2 in customer service skills. It was very cheap and I understand the saying " You get what you pay for," but the pictures on the page are a complete lie. I wouldn't stay here again even if it was for free. I am just glad that we stayed gone all day and were only there to sleep. Also, a continental breakfast would be a plus. Even if it is just fruit. I mean, you are at the beach.
The staff wasn't the friendliness but the room was pretty decent. Good enough for one night's stay.
The room was ok to sleep in if you are not planning on spending much time in the hotel. I was there for work and was only sleeping in the room so it was fine. I would not use if i was for vacation.
All was good at the hotel and the ammentities. Staff was courteous and rooms were neat and comfortable.
The room was good. ( Very cold) The check in time was very late(4:00pm). Good location
This motel was about what I expected but was over-priced based on the demand in the area. There was nothing special that stood out to make this a wonderful overnight stay.
had bugs on my bed fixtures was rusty had a oder of water in it
Great Location for us! Staff friendly and gave great service! Pool was AWESOME! Great Value!
Our stay was great, clean rooms , friendly staff. I hop and red lobster across the street. More parking would be nice, a few nights we had to park next to the office when our room was all the way in the back other than that everything was great!
We were disappointed in the amenities of which they really were not we were very pleased with the bed it was very comfortable the room was clean but old and needed some repairs overall it was what to star motel
The room was clean and quiet. We liked the wood flooring! Beds seemed to be memory foam and were very comfortable! No coffee maker but they had coffee in the lobby in the morning. Husband went to get ice for our cooler and found out he had to pay for it! That was kind of lame. Otherwise would stay there again. Good location, right across from a park and lots of restaurants nearby.
