Another great stay at Red Fish!

Great stay, lovely bedrooms and living room to relax after a day in the sun. Rent the beach chairs for the week, makes life so much easier! Try Red Fish Taco, Chiringo, Blue Mountain Creamery, and Cow Girl Kitchen. We rented bikes and was an easy ride to Watercolor! Enjoy!

Great condo in a wonderful community

The Redfish Village is convenient to the beach and away from the hustle and bustle in towards Alys and Rosemary. This unit is well appointed and very comfortable. It is located just above the parking garage and the stairs are close by. I was on a spring break trip with 2 teen girls - the two king rooms worked perfectly. The bunks provided them some reading nooks and some escape from each other. We didn’t make use of the beach toys but loved that they were available. The beach access is just a few minute walk down the street. The owner was very helpful with any issues we had.

Perfect Blue Mountain week!

We have stayed at Redfish village a few times now and have loved every unit we have stayed in the complex! Jessica’s property is no exception! Beautifully decorated, and spacious. We really appreciated the little extras her unit offered, beach towels, beach supplies, fully stocked kitchen, and enough supplies to get us through a few days (more than 1 trash bag, a few dishwasher tabs, a small laundry detergent.. hand soap in every bathroom and even little shower toiletries). The beds were all comfortable, my 15 & 13 year olds slept on the bunks (of your curious about size). The beach shuttle is fantastic to get your heavy coolers to the beach. The private entry, restrooms, and space on the private beach access is a must as the area is getting busier every year! We rented bikes from Big Daddy’s and rode into watercolor, seaside, Grayton, and gulf port. The BBQ grills at the complex are clean and very easy to use. Check in & out were easy.. loved we just needed to clean the beach towels, load & run the dishwasher & clean the frig out.. leaving the bath towels & bedding to be thoroughly cleaned by the cleaning crew!

Red Fish Village

This property was clean and up to date. We enjoyed having the large pool to use after a day at the beach. Because it’s located in Blue Mountain you are on the edge of the hustle and bustle of 30A so it’s quieter. However, there is easy access to all the restaurants and other sights in the area. We would stay here again.

Red Fish Village A+ property

My family had a wonderful experience at Red Fish Village. We normally rent a house in Blue Mountain about a half mile down the road, but decided to try a condo this year since our party was smaller this year. The unit was well maintained and we loved how they provided beach towels and a closet full of great beach chairs, boogy boards, and pool floats for our use. They even had a great rolling cooler you could use. The unit’s placement by the stairs was great for loading and unloading and we didn’t have to use the elevator. The mattresses in the unit were all very comfortable and we all got great sleep on them. The private entrance to the beach and two chairs and umbrella on the beach that were provided was a great perk. Overall, we really loved our experience at Red Fish Village and this unit. We hope to return soon!

Great condo close to Blue Mountain Beach.

Very nice property. 2 spacious king bedrooms with large bathrooms attached to each room. Plus a half bath and a set of bunks. Supplied beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and a volleyball. Short walk to the beach or a convenient shuttle to take you. Only downside was shuttle stopped running g at 5:00. Parking spot in the garage. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Property manager was very responsive. Overall great place that I would definitely recommend.

Too many Kitchen nuisances

Overall the location is great and the condo is nicely decorated but we became quickly disappointed with many kitchen nuisances. The knob to turn on the oven got extremely hot where I had to use a mit to turn it off. It took two hours for the oven turn on knob to cool down to touch. I will alert the property manager as this is not suppose to happen and could indicate an overheating problem and potentially cause a fire hazard. The oven is old as the labels were completely faded and I couldn’t find the timer on the oven. All the nonstick skillets were so scraped up that I had to throw out my scrambled eggs because they got so many tiny black teflon flakes that peeled off on them. I then tried to make pancakes on a metal skillet but the metal pan was so thin that immediately the pancakes blackened when I tried to cook them. My husband had to go to the grocery store and get a non-stick pan and we got a late start to the beach since I had to start making breakfast all over again. The only spatula they had in the drawer broke in half when I was trying to press down on the burgers while they were cooking in the metal pan. There was a silverfish and crud in the kitchen utensil drawer and they had cinnamon spice in the cabinet with an expiration date of 2012. Does anyone ever check the kitchen cabinets? I am disappointed and saddened that the owners have such little consideration for their guests. You can buy decent inexpensive pots and pans any where. We paid top dollar for our stay at this condo so we could ensure that things like this wouldn’t happen. Needless to say we will not be returning to stay at this condo.

What a great place for our 4 day stay.

The pictures and unit specifics were extremely accurate. The condo was comfortable and inviting.there was plenty of room for my husband, me, my adult daughter and 6 year old grandson. The location of the property was perfect for distance to the private beach and to great restaurants. We are so happy we rented this condo.

Location was great. Across the street from an ice cream shop and Red Fish Taco. Wish we had stayed longer to get to enjoy the pool and kids wanted to enjoy the playground. Planning our next trip 🙂 walked to the beach one evening.

Clean condo - good location

Condo is located in redfish village. Easy walk to the beach. Private beach access and shuttle service if needed. Clean, nice pool. Had minor issue with AC when arrived but owners were spot on and fixed it ASAP. They were so nice to deal with.

Wonderful family vacation

My husband, 17 year old son, six year old son, and myself truly enjoyed our stay at Redfish Village. The condo was perfect for our family. Everything was clean when we arrived. The property was so nice. The beds were super comfortable and the owners truly went out of their way to provide almost everything we could need. Communication with Jessica, the owner, couldn’t have been any easier. My youngest loved being able to alternate from swimming in the pool to playing on the playground. A shuttle was provided to the beach, but we never took advantage of it because it was such a short walk. The beach was clean and lovely. My oldest loved riding on the bike path. The location of the condo was super convenient to restaurants and Publix. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation!

Time Away

First of all, the owner was more than accommodating answering my questions and helping me out with our stay. I cannot say enough about that! Helpful hints and quick response were awesome! We've usually stayed in Seaside, but decided to venture out this year. There are some positives about the facility and can say this would be a great place for families with younger children. There is a lovely pool, green space for corn hole (there is one for the community), and a playground. It is a short walk to the beach. But, with little ones or toting lots to the beach take advantage of the complimentary shuttle. There is an ice cream place and donut/coffee shop across the street. Just make sure to go to the ice cream place early! Long lines form. The Red Fish Taco restaurant is on the facility and great. Offers inside and outside dining - great for all ages. Food was really good. The unit has two large bedrooms and large full baths. Great closets to store everything out of the way. Beds were comfortable. Three tvs. Two bunkbeds in the hallway - we did not use. Half bath stocked with beach towels. Kitchen was fairly stocked. Some of the kitchen pans were overly used and could be refreshed. But since many people don't cook at the beach, this may not be an issue. We cook breakfast almost every morning and the non-stick pan was not usable. Having two types of coffee pots was great. Regular and KCup. We have a difficult time logging into the Wifi and staying logged in. We had poor phone reception. Could not take or receive calls in the unit. This may not be an issue for some - unfortunately, for those who may need to take care of business while away, this could be an issue. We arrived right at 4 - check in time. The cleaning person was still there. We did not mind waiting. I am not sure if leaving sheets in the dryer from the previous renters is normal - we didn't know where to put them. Dishes were still in the dishwasher, but they were clean. I would say that the floors were not cleaned very well. Luckily there was a really nice vacuum and broom we put to use. Other than WiFi issues, I think the biggest issue with our stay was location. This may not matter to others, but we like to walk around the area we are staying, shop and eat without having to get in the car. Again, that's just us.
