My husband and I were very much impressed with the Lani Kai. It was hopping during the day, but when evening came around it was one of the quietest rooms we've ever stayed in. The room was super clean and very spacious. The restaurants had excellent food and friendly wait staff. The balconies overlook a beautiful beach to enjoy and even catch the sunset. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. .

We enjoyed the room and view. The only things that were not happy were the shower which did not have hot water and the house keeping was chatting loud at the hallway in the morning. Even if I asked to torn it down, she kept going. We wish we could have stayed longer as it was only one night.

There was a lot of construction going on, on the building. It would have been nice to know that the hotel was under construction. Rooftop restaurant was closed for construction, again would have been nice to know ahead of time.

I've been here for 11 years and have watched the Lani Kai along the way. I had my reservations about staying for the first time knowing the history. I was given a stern warning from my wife. What we found post the Hurricane that changed the island hopefully for the good, surprised and delighted me. Clean well appointed suite. Thoughtful decorations. Personable staff. I listened to the ocean from my 3rd Floor suite through the sliding doors and drapery. I sat on the couch with one amazing view. I got coffee from Gracie's and breakfast, hash browns and bacon. We arrived late and we need a full do over sunset to sunrise this time.

For the first time coming out here after reading these great reviews. All I can say is that I had a great stay, however they could’ve done better with maintenance in bathroom, plastique couch and in general… staff were amazing, grace’s dining was amazing, stay was amazing. Lots of work still…. Def, coming back…!!

Started off Bad . I ask for a room higher level away from the bar and got the room right above the Bar on 1st floor. and Music started at about 4PM and was loud till late. but understood that it is a bar. Also didn't tell me there might be construction noise till I checked in and said a little noise .It was all week. That Started no later than 8AM and went to 3PM !! Saws Drills hammering a lot of noise. Hard to relax on nice balcony and watch the ocean. Should have discounted the suite or I should have moved to another Hotel.. Could have stayed at Margaritaville for same money I paid! Don't know if will stay again. I still hearing it from my wife.
