The rooms was very duty dust on mirrors shower was nest, the room key wasn't working properly, breakfast need's to improve a lot no bacon no scrumble eggs no sausage people were making sex on the spa it's was really frustrating.

Great location without the Sanibel price tag. Enjoyed breakfast and pool, staff were great! Only downside room had slight musty odor but tolerable.

Loved staying there. Clean friendly staff.,............ ... ...

I recently stayed 5 nights (female travelling alone) at this hotel and chose it because I am familiar with the area and the price was reasonable. I have stayed at neighbouring hotels in the past and can say the staff and the pool at the La Quinta would definitely bring me back! Do the facilities need some updates? Yes! But I did not spend much time in my room so was not bothered by this. My bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I used the gym to do my own workouts. The treadmill and the elliptical could use some TLC but there are paved walkways in almost every direction to walk/run/bike. There's a great beach at the end of the road (parking is cheaper than Sanibel) that I also enjoyed! All of the guests I encountered were very friendly! Overall it was a great stay and I wish I was back by the pool!

This is a good, solid motel. The price is right. It is NOT luxurious, nor high end but a nice comfortable place. The breakfast is great. There is no meat, but a nice selection of foods including waffles and fresh fruit.

Conveniently located and very comfortable beds. I was happy with the location. Very quiet and relaxing.

Nice hotel showing its age but maintained by a very good staff. We enjoyed our stay in Fort Meyers.

We had stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years and this year we noticed that there were many people that stayed who had dogs. I asked about it when it comes to cleaning the rooms seeing that people have allergies to pet hair. It would be nice to know that if you stay and you request a room that a pet has not been in you would not cause those people to look for another hotel.

I heard nothing but complaints. I also don't think they are to fond of children!

The staff were really nice and it was a great location if you were going to Sanibel but the room smelled horrible and there was mold it looked like on the mirror. Also the bathroom offered no privacy because it did not have a door or separate toilet so while your getting ready if your spouse has to do number 2 you have to smell it or get out. Which would probably still smell better than the room did anyways. The breakfast was just ok. We did not choose to eat it the second day. We would not stay here again.

For us, the location was perfect. Excellent proximity to Sanibel and surrounding beaches and a 20 minute drive from airport.

The hotel itself was kept up well and looked nice. Our room did have a bit of a musty odor. The bathroom was a great size and the bed was pretty comfortable, the pillows lacked pretty much anything though. The breakfast we receieved was also great. Kids loved making the waffles. Other than the smell and lack of ice from out machine, it was a really nice stay.

It was a good location and great pool...decent breakfast and near the publix and beach.

nice room. Very good location. Clean and convenient. I'd stay here again.

I hard a hard time getting the front desk to answer the phone when calling to say I will be checking in late but, upon arrival was greeted warmly by the young women who was also helpful in all the hotel amenities. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom for the normal adult smells or humidity from the shower but the room and bathroom which was adorned in art deco was a good size and the king size bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast had a nice selection except no eggs were offered ?? Overall staff was friendly and accommodations were fine.

La Quinta Inn has the largest hotel swimming pool and Jacuzzi in town. Just a 5 minute ride away from the noise and traffic of Ft. Myers beaches, it is located on the road to Sanibel Island and is across the street from the Tangier Outlet Mall.

There was no pool or anything else like that. They were redoing the pool area. Our room was very dusty. Bathroom floor looked like it had in been washed. There was no plastic bags in garbage cans or for the ice bucket. I tell the front desk when we left.

Hotel is in a good, quiet location near shopping outlet mall and supermarket. Clean rooms and large swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Family and pet friendly

Great location. Just 10 minutes away from beach. Large swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Family-friendly.

We got to our room and quickly realized how nice of a hotel this is. The pool/hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed swimming here. The location is excellent, with fast access to the area beaches. The room was very clean and nice, with plenty of available towels, washcloths, soap and shampoo, etc. The complimentary breakfast was great with a nice selection of foods to choose from. We had waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, and toast available, with juices and coffee available to drink. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!
