We were notified less than 12 hours before our flight that the unit we reserved (on the 7th floor) would need to be accessed via stairs only because there elevator was out of service. The property managers commented with my wife for over an hour on different property's at the same building which were smaller or we could upgrade for an additional cost which was unacceptable. The representative was getting frustrated with my wife because their solutions were unacceptable. While they were "negotiating" I went onto their website and found a private house on the bay listed as available at 8.00 more per night. My wife suggested that to the representative. She didn't respond for almost an hour then finally came back the she checked with her manager and they gave us the property for our same rate. That property needs some maintenance but was clean and very nice over. We were very happy with our stay.
