Would not return or recommend. Upon entering the room first thing you see is a tattered edge of carpet that meets the tile floor and an institutional looking box spring. There was brown stains on the white curtains and stains on the walls in the bathroom. Housekeeper left our used washcloths in the shower for two days. Then we found cockroaches in the room. Front desk staff was unhelpful with checkin in and checkout for room charges to a different card. For the resort fee it’s ironic that you have to pay $20 for an umbrella at a beach resort. And the beach attendant did nothing but take your number and point to chairs that had sand on them from the day before. Disappointed to say the least. Shout out to the valet. They were great

Great location. Common areas need a little sprucing up with fresh paint, floor boards etc. Hotel hallways and common-area bathrooms are showing noticable wear and tear. Beach F&B service (William?) was fantastic. Minor issues in the room (refrig was unplugged and not accessible for us to plug in, etc) that were immediately resolved when front desk was called. Would stay again for sure.

When checking in on 04/13/24 around 6pm the gentleman that stated he was the assistant manager was not polite or professional. He was not helpful in familiarizing us at all with the property. He did not address my wife and I nor look up at us for some time. I asked for a bell cart & he said that Valet would provide one as he doesn’t do that. When I went back to valet, they said they do not provide bell carts & that we would need to go back to front desk & rushed my wife & I out with all of our luggage from the vehicle without a bell cart which was very overwhelming and stressful. It was a horrible first impression. Additionally, the same assistant manager provided us with the wrong code to get into the property gate. We were stuck outside at the beach area around 8pm for about 20 minutes until we finally got someone’s attention to help us to get in. I brought everything to the assistant managers anttention & he did not care or show any concern and was non apologetic. I asked for the manager so I can share my bad experience and he said he’s the only manager. However Fernando up front was very pleasant. Fernando also helped familiarize us with the property and providing a map and recommended restaurants etc. The lobby and 7th floor tile floors were always very dirty and sticky even though I asked for it to be cleaned. Valet kept closing out our account so we were delayed & always having to make a new account. There were holes in the pillow cases.

Romantic environment
The service all together was wonderful. The hotel is really nice and in a great location for beach access and a calm romantic ambiance. The rooms were pretty clean, just a few areas of improvement, but overall acceptable. For parking there is only valet, which cost $34 a day and is not optional, so with the daily $39 resort fee you are looking at almost $100 additional cost per day. I thought that was a little ridiculous when you are expected to tip for every valet interaction. Internet also costs extra daily, which seems petty for a hotel that costs so much already. Overall a good experience, other than all the added on costs.
