The stay was surprisingly great. Great experience for the money. I like the fact that they have MANY sister properties that you can share the amenities. Reminds me of Jamaica. And most of the locations are like a 2-3 minute walk from the beach!!! A
Do not stay here! It took a good 45-60 minutes just to check in (which is at a location several blocks away). Once we finally made it to the room there was an overpowering fragranced cleaning product/laundry detergent smell. So overpowering that my daughter and I had allergy and asthma issues the entire weekend which resolved almost immediately upon returning home. There is no dish washing soap or paper towel/sponge/dish cloth in the kitchen so do not use any items in the kitchen because they’ve never been cleaned/sanitized. No smoke alarm. No beach/pool towels provided. Breakfast is served at a different location which is about 6 blocks away. Pull out sofa bed was TERRIBLE. We had neighbors who listened to heavy metal all night long and smoked a lot of weed. Very tight limited parking. Pools located at other properties not close to this one. They charge you for parking, a resort fee and a $100 deposit on the room. The one plus is that it is just a block from the beautiful ocean. We won’t be back, which is a shame because we are locals who were looking for a staycation at a good price.
Was supposed to check in on 12/22, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to check-in until 12/23. Called property to alert them the afternoon of 12/22. Arrived midday on 12/23. Front desk is off-site, and apparently the host of a ton of properties around the area. Lobby area is nowhere big enough to handle the volume of people checking in. Three front desk workers seemed incredibly overwhelmed. Went to check in for my reservation from 12/22 to 12/26. Was informed they had it as a 1-night stay. Told them that was incorrect. After 30 minutes and seeing one of the other employees berate the woman checking me in for not knowing how to change the reservation, I was “upgraded” to another site. Everyday, my keycard would stop working multiple times a day. Every time I’d go to the front desk, they’d argue with me that my checkout day was that day. Never an apology. Always a long line. On 12/25, requested a late checkout on 12/26 and paid the $45 fee. Yet again, key stopped working. Yet again, a front desk employee argued with me that I didn’t have a late checkout. “Oh, I forgot to check the notes”. Still no apology. Can’t review the Dream Inn since I didn’t technically stay there. The room at Paradise was decent enough. Old and small, but clean and really close to the beach. Steer clear if you have a smoke allergy. Cigarette and weed smoking all over the property. I’ll definitely never stay at any of the Hollywood Beach Hotels again.
Staff super nice , property condition was poor ,missing blind ..... if I can I don’t choose the hotel again
