Lovely location. The marsh was beautiful and the beach was right across the street. The neighborhood is clean, well maintained, 3 miles from downtown folly. It was nice being away from the hustle of town. House had everything we needed. Beach towels, chairs and an umbrella were all provided as well as laundry detergent, soap & coffee. No need to over pack. You’re in Charleston within 25 mins. So great proximity to the city life as well.

Needed Getaway!

The house was as described, clean and everything we needed for our stay. We cooked in two out of our three nights and the kitchen was equipped with everything necessary. We had a misunderstanding about requesting a pack and play but the property manager had one delivered within the hour. Be sure to request any baby necessities! Overall, our stay was lovely. The location was perfect - so close to the beach and gorgeous marsh sunsets. We will be back!

Beach Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was perfect for the two of us. It was a very quick walk to the beach and the views out the back onto the marsh were beautiful. We have no complaints and would recommend staying here.

February at Folly

I stayed a couple of weeks in February and it was just great for what I wanted. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star and not 5 is that the inside shower did not wor when we checked it. Close to the beach so I could walk our dog every day, at the location I wanted. Clean and fresh, a bit funky, and cozy at the same time. Really nice view from the upper deck, loads of space to work in the kitchen which was nice. Had one issue with the indoor shower not working and trash removal but that was taken care of right away. The floors are a bit sloped, and bedrooms/bath are small but it’s a great place to be.

Enjoyed our stay!

Sol Searcher is comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, but we didn’t cook a lot. The outdoor spaces are inviting; especially like the upper deck! The location also helped us have an enjoyable visit.

Perfect for our family

We enjoyed this property very much! The house was perfect for our group of 4. Super close to the beach and only a quick ride into town. The property manager was wonderful to work with. We are already talking about our next visit!

Some of the best memories made here

Our family enjoyed all that this place had to offer. The crabs in the back by the dock were so cool & having the beach across the street we could have spent ohr whole vacation just around the house & had the best vacation. We also toured Charleston. Highly recommended 💕

Folly Beach Earthquakes? Nah, just beach replenishment.

Great place, we enjoyed ourselves but our timing our vacation with the exact point of heavy equipment was unfortunate. Full disclosure, warnings were sent to us about the beach, I guess we didn’t realize how big an operation it would be and in the same block as our rental. We loved Folly despite the beach rumbling!

We love Folly

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly like the listing. Cute. Clean. Great location! We enjoyed being on the marsh. We caught a big blue crab in the crab trap! The bathroom sink needs to be fixed - super slow draining. And we bought ant bait traps because there were random ants in the kitchen from the first day we arrived. We told the property management company about the broken dock and they came out and fixed that! Easy communication. We would love to come back!

Great getaway!

We needed a brief break from our day-to-day grind. Folly beach is just close enough (and just far away enough) for us to get just that. The house is great. Very comfortable and in a superb location. Hope to stay here again.

Cute cottage

This was a small but nicely appointed house, clean and functional. 1 bathroom is always a challenge, though there is a half bath in the laundry room. Plenty of outdoor spaces and a beautiful view of the marsh and sunsets. Our dog also had plenty of yard to play ball.

Best view!

We had a great time at this property. The house had everything we needed. It was on the small side but the view and all the outdoor spaces make up for it. We loved the screen porch and the proximity to the beach. Above all we loved the amazing view of the marsh, it was captivating. The only thing i would mention is that the half bathroom is located off the screen porch, good if you like a lot of privacy. Also the pier needs some repairs to be safely used at our visit in October 2023. I don’t say this often but I would love to stay here again. It was a special house and we are already planning our next visit.

Quaint house, close to beach

Quaint house, out back was pretty and close to beach. House had everything we needed but could use a can opener and giving us more than 1 dishwasher pod would have been nice. Frig needs to be leveled! But overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Thanks!
