Great stay on Folly!
Such a fun time. The house was spacious and had 2.5 bathrooms which was so nice. Lots of towels and linens for everybody and a nice entertainment/tv set up. The bathrooms also were fully stocked with toiletries Not a good gathering space to eat a big meal together but overall a really good stay!

We liked the location of the property (just about a block away from beach) and the large space to fit our family. There were, however, several things we did not like. First, the cleanliness of the house was not great. Floors were filthy and left our feet colored with dirt. Dishes in the cupboard were not clean and had bits of food on it. Second, the fan in the upstairs master was broke, and made bad sounds while operating. The master bath’s faucets were loose and did not work properly. Also there was a loose board on the top stair step right in front of the entrance. Finally, the bedroom on the main floor did not have any blinds which made my sister in law sleeping in that room feel uncomfortable. This all said, we shared this in a chat via VRBO and we never received any acknowledgement about our concerns. In the end, the price we paid for this stay was not

Upon arrival the house had a very strong aroma of cleaning products as you walked up the steps to get into the house from the parking garage. Sadly that’s not what we found. The house was covered in inches of dust and had not been properly cleaned. It may have been wiped down from the previous stay but most definitely hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like months. We found food in the window seals, hair in the master shower, sheets that had black residue on them. Also, your feet were black as could be if you were barefoot walking around in the house. The house also needed a lot of light bulbs replaced which made cooking impossible in the kitchen since it only had one working light bulb. The lighting in the bathrooms were equivalent to what you would find an old run down truck stop gas station whose bathrooms were found on the outside. All in all I would not recommend renting this home as it is not clean or taken care of. It’s a shame too because the location is perfect. This is the first time I have had to leave a bad review for anyone and we go somewhere a couple of times a year every year. I am so sorry.

The location cannot be beat!! The house needs some attention, faucets not hooked down, had to tighten a bedroom door knob so it could be shut, cracked flool tiles (10 - 12' long crack) that i got a pc of tile in my foot, not very clean around the edges. Good location for Turn-around weekend
This property is conveniently located to beach and business, restaurants, and entertainment. Within walking distance to the pier and public beach access. Residence was clean and very well stocked with towels and linens. Well stocked kitchen also. The drawbacks for our family were no full bath on main floor, and mattress on main floor bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable for 2 people. Teenagers were ok with bunk beds. Nice porches on both levels.

The rental was perfectly located right across from the beach. The house is walking distance to everything in just minutes. Loved the decks and spaciousness for a family of 6 it was very comfortable. The master is upstairs and has a really nice bathtub and balcony. Parking is convenient and on property. We will definitely come back. Thank you

Excellent Location on Folly
We loved our stay at this property. The location is wonderful. The beach access if very quick and easy. You are only about a block from most of the restaurants, shops, and the Folly pier. We also really enjoyed the restaurant/bar that is just across the street. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, there were beach chairs provided, the grill was in great working order. However, if you cannot do stairs you should consider another option. Not only are there stairs to get inside, but there isn't a shower on the main living area so you must go upstairs to shower.
We traveled with dogs and found the property to be very dog friendly. There is fenced yard to either side for dog walking and convenient outdoor shower space and hose for beach clean up.
Overall, we definitely recommend this property. Would stay again!
