The chairs in the eating area, which was the only place to sit were the most uncomfortable chairs ever made!! They look cool, but you just can’t sit on them for more than a couple of minutes. The ‘sofa’ was just strange and lumpy. The only light into the apartment is from a small light well which serves the apartment below as well. All exhaust (all!) goes here! Doesn’t look as glamorous as the pics. Two floors up a narrow steep staircase, straight of the street. Street, incidentally, seems to be the main pedestrian access for bus loads of Chinese tourists in the morning. On the plus side, the bathroom is new and smart and the kitchen, while basic is OK and new. Twin beds OK. It suited us in a basic sense, but was not worth the excessive rental.
