Kept walking past it when we first arrived.... Small but caring hotel. Room was ok, breakfast not bad, staff helpful. Just a bit remote, with not a lot near by that is open after 7pm. However the local bus stops 200mtrs away.

First impression wasn't too bad. Got to the room and it was very basic, tired looking room. Far from city center, not in the best of neighborhoods and parking is a pain. Wasn't horrible but if I had to do it again I would pass on this place. Breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular but not terrible.

We stayed here for two nights in September on a tour of Italy. It was comfortable, clean and offered us the basics we needed for the value it was good enough. Very basic but meeting your needs and comfortable.

This hotel was booked for us by the travel agent as part of our visit to Rome, Florence and Venice. It was supposed to be 3* but when we arrived we were absolutely shocked. The outside area looked unsafe with a number f drunken men hanging out on the street by the hotel entrance. The reception area looked so dated with horribly coloured walls. It felt like we were decades back in time. This continued in the hallway and corridor. The lift was tiny and then the room was absolutely terrible. I don't know where on earth they purchased their furniture and beds etc from they looked so basic and old and horrible. We were extremely disappointed by this hotel that we couldn't stay. I spent the next hour searching for other hotels in Florence and we left as soon as I found one that suited us. We had paid the city tax at reception before being handed out room keys but when we existed after just one hour we were told they couldn't refund us the city tax which we would then have to pay again at the next hotel but we didn't care we just wanted to leave as soon as possible and forget this mini horrible experience like it didn't happen. The first thing the taxi driver did when I handed him the next hotel's address was to put up a big smile and say the next hotel is a much better place!

On arrival at the hotel ,first impressions weren't too bad. Not bad if your only staying one or two nights. Wifi signal awful ,now the wifi has disappeared completely even after putting correct pass in! Pros:nice view of the hills from the balcony ,bus route is close by Cons:noisy air con, dusty room, smells ,long way from city centre(over 2 miles),smallest tv in the world. Would I come here again NOOO way , sorry diva Hotel must try harder. But to be fair it's a budget hotel , but how did you get 3 stars rating !

We have just returned from diva hotel and I can honestly say I would never return, on arrival the place smelt of vinegar it was clean I must admit but I think they cleaned with vinegar, our room was also clean but like it was in a 1970s time warp,I just wanted to leave and book another room somewhere else it was rather depressing breakfast was ok but nothing special, staff seemed ok , we made sure we got up early had breakfast and got out of there until it was time to go to sleep and even then I just felt very uneasy,we booked in for 3 nights but left after 2 nights, if you want to enjoy your trip to Florence I would suggest you stay elsewhere.

First of all, I must say I am a very experienced traveller and stayed at several hotels but I have never had such a bad feeling like I had here. First of all, this hotel is very far away from the centre, if you walk it takes more than an hour. When you take the bus it is about 20 minutes. When someone is on holiday, that is the least wanted to spend extra money and time on travelling to the hotel, especially not this much. The area is also rough with girls openly selling themselves even in front of the hotel. However, there were other problems with the hotel, too. I believe that in a third stars hotel it is obvious to have a quiet room, glass cup in the bathroom not a plastic one and a proper lock on the door. They put me in a room above the breakfast area so even if I wanted to sleep longer till 8-8:30 am, it was impossible because very loud noise came from the breakfast area and from the cleaners in front of my room who started working between 7-8 and were talking very loudly every day. Even the walls were very thin because I could hear everything from the neighbours including talk, flashing toilet etc. Finally, the staff were very unpleasant, unfriendly from the first moment I got there. You would expect staff to be smiley, extra friendly while serving you but here it seems they are doing a favour to let you stay at their place. They were very much condescending and not at all flexible in any ways. Wifi connection was literally not functioning in the room, was not strong at all so reception was impossible. I would warn people not to ruin their holiday by staying at this place. This hotel is too expensive for the service, location and the overall impression they give.

Before I booked Diva hotel and read some reviews which made me nervous as I was traveling along they where issues of undated hotel unsafe area and far from city. I emailed and hotel manner emailed back saying I had no to worry about. So as I got to Florence it was so easy to find my way to hotel on the bus every bus driver knew the hotel so I noticed quite popular hotel. Once I arrived at Diva hotel I released I had no thing to worry about and most of the reviews where unfair. Excellent staff very helpful and wonderful friendly staff and service they did everything to make me comfortable helped me with maps bus tickets and places to see and to arrive using transport. The breakfast was amazing nots of different varieties and plenty of amazing breads cheese croissants a mixture for every Ines needs. The hotel was always clean the room was amazing and very clean the hotel was not back dated at all very Italian style. Transport was so easy and it took less than 20 minutes most days to arrive in Florence city and the all point is to see local life and join in this is why I Loved Diva hotel as location was prefect and not unsafe at all meet very helpful people and locals in the area traveling all along I not once felt unsafe and At the hotel I felt very safe and welcomed it is an amazing place And next year I would return to Florence and I definitely will only stay at Diva hotel I recommend to everyone Big Thank you To Diva and all the wonderful Stuff well done

I am writing this review as I feel it should be written. The review is based on the fact that this is a budget hotel. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was adequate for the price that you pay for this hotel. The only drawback to this hotel, is it's location. Whilst there are places to eat locally, the surroundings are not very pleasant. I would not put off people staying here, as it is good value for money and you can catch a bus straight into the centre of Florence

Hotel room delivered was not what I booked online (dual beds vs single), and parking was not included as indicated online. Area around the hotel was sketchy, with prostitutes openly soliciting less than two blocks away. Didn't feel safe parking my car in front of the shops, indicated to hotel staff I wanted to cancel. Hotel staff was condescending and intransigent, refusing to refund my stay. I travel a lot for work and can't remember the last time I had an issue at a hotel. This is a plethora ornate options in Florence, don't stay here!
