We have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express dozens of times with extended stays for a number of years. We are experts of this hotel and it has yet to disappoint us. We have yet to stay in a noisy room. And the best part, the staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. Whatever our situation, and we have had a few, they were always helpful and professional. I even left a shirt behind, and they mailed it to me. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The hotel has been around for a number of years and some of the towels and bedding could be replaced. And the best part, the breakfasts. It is not your standard complimentary breakfast. It is obvious that great care is taken to make sure the food is prepared properly and without the normal greasy protein. The types of protein and eggs are changed up daily with more choices than normal. And the pancakes, they're great, and the machine actually works. It is located on the north end of the city, just off I 75 near the high school and Findlay University.
Great location, clean room, walking distance to a few restaurants. And the breakfast was great, hot food selections and even offered gluten free muffins which I almost NEVER see. Only thing was that it did not have a hot tub, that would have been nice.
We stayed last week in a jacuzzi suite. The hotel is very clean and in great shape..at a more affordable price then the competition..compared to what you get. The free coffee and tea is a great added bonus. The breakfast is great, and the employees are wonderful. Will stay again!
I have not stayed at this hotel, but they have charged my credit card for staying there. They connected my IHG account with someone with the same name as me. They proceeded to charge $400+ to my credit card and placed an additional $700+ in pending charges on my card. I have spent hours on the phone with them and it still isn’t fixed. This has been a horrible experience and very poor customer service.
On the plus side, we were able to get into our room early which was nice because of a play that started at 2:00. Breakfast was very nice. Pool was clean. Had 3 tables with umbrellas in pool area...inside... 1 was taken, 2nd one had a broken umbrella..would not go up, was awkward sitting there with 4 people not being able to see each other, 3rd table had a colony of little red ants underneath having a family reunion. Pool area has low ceilings and isn't a large area, very loud. They removed their hot tub. Nicely tiled floor but water makes it slippery. Only 4 clean towels left, which were all we needed, however, they were so old, thin and small you really needed a couple to get dry. When we left the pool area at 6:00 Sunday evening I told the desk clerk about the ants, she smiled and also that more towels would be needed for guests still there, she said they would wash and dry them. Our room was clean but clock etc. dusty. Very nice towels in the rooms. Pretty pond with fountain and pavement surrounding it outside, nice place to walk around. Hotel is in a convenient location.
The location is great, off I-75 and beside alot of restaurants and bars. Rooms were clean and inviting. The pool was also clean. Breakfast was hot and there were many options. The best part about the hotel is its proximity to the lake/pond/located behind the hotel with a full deck to relax. We were there for a family event and hung out back there all night. It was like a private backyard. Wonderful Stay!
We were in town for the first time to attend a wedding. The staff was wonderful, the room was comfortable, the wifi worked great and my granddaughter loved the heated pool. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and check out a breeze. Well done!
We had a quiet room that overlooked the water on the first floor, location was convenient to walk to a Cracker Barrel for dinner and around the water. The pool was a nice temperature but we were a little disappointed there was no longer a hot tub. It was tiled in. I do not think the hotel website promoted a hot tub but prior guests had posted photos online of one so we thought there would be one. Overall, we would stay here again. It was clean, quiet and what we always expect at a Holiday Inn.
Hotel is very nice. We booked in part because it had an indoor pool and were disappointed to find that the pool was closed. It had been closed since March 26 and will remain closed until April 21. We feel that this should have been noted on the ihg website and on the hotel website.
Was here for one night, the location is fabulous! Nice and quite! Several fast food restaurants are near by. Very close to the freeway for easy access. The hotel was clean, service was great! If I am ever in Findlay again, would stay here!
