My stay in Bedarra Beach Inn was most wonderful & unique. I arrived in Fiji as a 21st birthday gift and being a first-time traveller here, it was this place that first opened my eyes to the absolute warm hospitality of the local Fijians. The Bedarra staff are so friendly, helpful and willing to go above & beyond in serving their guests, which was highly commendable. They put on their best 'Bula' smiles and would happily oblige in advising and addressing my queries about places of interest in Fiji, activities to do and the Fijian culture. I stayed in a Standard Room, which was located indoors near the Bar; the room smelled fresh with clean areas, neatly-arranged amenities and sufficiently supplied with toiletries. However, beds were a little too soft. The room location also makes it vulnerable to noise especially during evenings when it can be quite noisy for awhile but nothing too disturbing. The location is beautiful with a panoramic view of the clear ocean just outside the inn. Beach chairs and towels were provided (Just request for one with the staff) and watching the sunset felt magical every time. Snorkelling is not recommended near the inn as there are rocks and dead corals aplenty and not many fishes to spot despite the crystal waters. Fortunately, there are still many other places in Fiji to snorkel with stunning views of ocean life! Meals in Bedarra include local Fijian dishes and a mix of other cuisines. The menu specials (2 Specials & 1 Soup-of-the-day) change daily & during my stay here, would frequent the restaurant almost on a daily basis for breakfast, lunch and dinner but mostly dinner to try out their specials - overall, it was THAT good and a must-try to potential or current guests wanting to have a taste of Fijian food. Price-wise compared to nearby resorts like Outrigger, meals were a whole lot affordable. 'Happy hour' was one of my favourite times in Bedarra where a staff would sound a gong and all bar drinks were half-priced; the bar would be bustling with guests in no time! I thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment in Bedarra which includes local Fijian music performed by the talented Bedarra Beach Boys every night and would never fail to lighten and brighten the atmosphere with their soothing voices and croons. Literally music to one's ears! All in all, I shall never forget this perfect 21st birthday gift experience in Fiji partly due to my stay here in Bedarra and its staff who have made it so special and precious. A big Vinaka vaka levu to every one of them :) Bedarra Beach Inn is the perfect getaway for the young and old and highly recommended to anyone who is visiting Fiji. With high hopes, I wish to return another time soon.

We stayed here for 5 nights as our son got married at the Outrigger. There was a large group of us and the Bedarra was just perfect for our needs. A 5 minute walk to the wedding and situated right opposite the beach. Rooms were very spacious, clean and tidy. Certainly had everything we required. Staff were great, very friendly and accomodating. Food was good and catered for everyone. There are also a couple of local restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk if you feel like a change. These were very good also. Overall an excellent little Hotel and I would definately recommend and would also stay here again. If you are looking for a big bussly Resort this is not for you. Thank you Bedarra for a wonderful stay😊🌴

BULA! Just got back from fiji . STAYED throughout from 5-11 Oct 2017. 1) LOCATION OF BEDARRA It's 13 mins to Sigatoka town by taxi $(10) per way and 1 hour 35 mins plus minus from airport depending on traffic Standard room was good ,clean, spacious with a safe too. The room we stayed was really close by pool, restaurant and reception. In the evening , happy hour at 5pm and can be loud but that did not bother us. The restaurant served very awesome daily dinner specials without fail. We took our 3 meals amost everyday and will NOT miss our dinner , a must have! except on days we need to go for our tour. The food was really yummy! with live music and that makes the whole ambience AWESOME. LOOK OUT FOR THE SUNSET, get ready your camera and roll in for the beautiful sunset just right outside the property! A BIG THANK YOU! to all the staff of Bedarra , they were the highlights that makes our stay a very enjoyable one . Keep it up ! :-) SNORKELLING Not a good spot despite the beach is just right In front of Bedarra- too windy ,dead corals and rocky . Walk further down approx 8 mins to outrigger property , better beach areas for swimming and snorkelling. 2) AIRPORT TRANSFER We took the yellow taxi instead , just outside the airport and understand from reviews , travel agents transfer prices are equally pricey as reviewed by some in the forum. So I decided to go easy and accessed the situation because there are plenty of yellow cabs outside the airport . My daughter and I approached the info counter directly after the check out. Forgotten his name but the staff (man) was so helpful and assisted us to negotiate a good fare. Generally yellow taxis are safe as they are registered officially with the airport. For departure, I arranged on my own with the same driver who took me at the same price he first took our transfer, it's a good rate anyway. 3) DAYTRIP TOURS You can book from the reception. I have feedback in trip advisor for "off road cave " and "whales tale" tours. Please guide yourself to my reviews if you need more info.

Visiting Fiji in August we again stayed at the Bedarra Beach Inn, making it our fourth time. Once again we had a lovely and relaxing stay. Staff are friendly, rooms are spotless, the restaurant is good and the location idyllic. Most of our time this trip was spent by the coral reef under the fronds of the coconut trees, on the banana lounges reading and snoozing. This is our 'get away from it all and relax' destination and it always delivers. Highly recommend.

We had the most amazing time at the Bedarra. From our very first impression, my husband and I were impressed the service and hospitality of the Bedarra staff. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a cool drink, a lovely welcome song and Jiten already knew our name. I don’t know how the staff do it but from then on everyone knew our names. We luckily arrived as happy hour was starting and were very impressed with the delicious cocktails. We only missed one happy hour during our stay and that’s because we were up the road attending a wedding at Outriggers. My immediate family and the grooms immediate family were in Fiji for my sister’s wedding and we were spread out across several resorts (Crow’s Nest and Outriggers) but we ended up at Bedarra every day for happy hour, for breakfast or for dinner. The room (room 1) itself was large with a balcony and effective air conditioning. We were right at the front of the resort. The bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely, and despite the claims in the hotel guide of potentially ineffective water pressure, we didn’t have any issues. In fact, the shower is better than ours at home. Those that want a sleep in may want to bring an eye mask as the curtains are do not block out the sun and I woke just after 6am every morning of our stay. I enjoyed getting up to seize the day but others may find this wake up call a little frustrating. We had breakfast the Bedarra on three mornings of our stay (five nights). The tropical breakfast was a lovely way to start the day with the best pineapple I’ve ever had in my life. Just make sure you’re not in a hurry – Fiji time – no hurry, no worry! We used the free snorkelling equipment and reef shoes most mornings in the lagoon/beach at the front of the Bedarra. There is a lot of coral and fish. We didn’t use the pool too often as my parents were down the road at Outriggers so we made the use of their facilities. However, the pool and spa were nice and refreshing. I highly recommend the free Fijian foot ritual. As my husband doesn’t like having his feet touched, I went with my sister and we both were immensely impressed. It was much better than the pedicure we had the day before at the Outriggers spa for a hen’s party. We also got my mum an aromatherapy massage after the wedding to help her relax and she highly recommended it. All in all, the Bedarra is an amazing place to stay with excellent rooms, staff and facilities. We’re already planning our return for next year. Vinaka!

All the staff were helpful and very welcoming. The room was large and comfortable and immaculately clean. The location was beautiful.. the lagoon was perfect for snorkeling ( all equipment and towels provided free of charge). The gardens were lovely and well kept. All the meals were tasty and perfectly cooked. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend it here.

A group of us ladies stopped in here around 8 for dinner last minute(night before brides wedding) we were staying at the Outrigger and wanted a little change of scenery. At first we thought we might be turned away but they were happy to oblige us and seated us by the pool in the lower level away from the other guests which was nice. We requested a love song to be sang to the bride which they did and was really lovely. Nothing was a hassle. The guys bringing our meals was friendly and polite. The food was nice and drinks were good. I had burgers and chips and couldnt finish it, I was able to take it home with me in a takeaway container provided. Meals were a good cheap price and was a lovely relaxing atmosphere..

Great place to stay.. Loved it, the staff were fabulous and very attentive. Night Manager didn't even see us check in but when he saw us, knew our names and what room number we were in.. He said that was his job to know. Impressive. The best thing is you are not committed to eat there as there are other eateries along the beach within walking distance. For the Price and locality, highly recommend this place..

Recently visited Fiji for my daughters wedding. Due to budget we booked Bedarra Beach Inn and were not disappointed at all. We visited my daughter at the neigbouring resort and was overwhelmed with how busy it was with people everywhere. We were looking for a quiet, laid back stay to relax and unwind. The pros for Bedarra Beach Inn very much outweighed the cons. Pros. Clean. Tidy. Well maintained gardens. Great restaurant and bar. Nice quiet atmosphere. Very clean pool. Our spa full body then foot massage was the best I have ever had. The restaurant meals were very nice. Our room was very large and roomy and we were happy to have no TV, radio or clock. The staff were all very good and always smiling. They remembered our names, room numbers and favourite drinks. They were very friendly and helpful. Our checkout account was paid with options and explained very well Cons. Some minor maintenance needed. Not much at all. Maybe the offer of bottled water for our room would have been appreciated.

Bedarra offers everything you need in a tropical paradise. Beachfront sun loungers, crystal clear pool, delicious meals, spacious rooms and delightful staff. Everything is at your fingertips in this relaxing laid back resort.
