Avoid this hotel at all costs! An absolute disgrace. We specifically requested a room in a quieter part of the hotel. On the first morning we were woken up by loud noise outside our room from 6am - 8am, when we raised this reception told us "this is impossible" because they have sound proofing. We went to the room, I stood on the balcony and the staff pretended they couldn't hear me speak, thankfully my partner was there and called them out for lying.
On day two we returned back to our room to find the roof had leaked and was flooding our room, the bed was soaked the floor was wet and items in our suitcase were wet too.
That same evening, music suddenly started playing outside by the pool right across from our room at insanely loud levels. I can't emphasise enough how insanely loud this music was. It turns out the owner of the hotel had invited 30 of his university friends for a party at his hotel! They brought a giant sound system blasting music for around 4 hours straight. The staff kept saying it would end soon, hours later it was still going, most of the staff had left, the only one still there told us "It's the bosses friends there's nothing I can do" and the man behind the bar even told us that we have no right to complain because "this is tourism" and they're legally allowed to blast music like this until 1am.
Needless to say we checked out the next morning and got the money back for the rest of our stay. I wouldn't come back to this hell hole if they paid me.
