Riad Idrissy is a restored 400 year old mansion in the heart of Fez medina, it is perfectly located for days wandering the medieval streets as well as bespoke excursions into the surrounding countryside. There is a large garden at the riad where both traditional and 'Modern Moroccan' dishes are served. The garden is a rather grand ruined house filled with fruit trees, roses, jasmin & a spice garden. Whole house rental is also available.

Mi experiencia en esta casa fue, en general, muy agradable. La verdad es que es preciosa, acogedora y está muy bien situada. Enhorabuena a todo el personal: MUY MAJOS, PROFESIONALES y ENCANTADORES. Sin duda, voy a recomendar este sitio a todos mis amigos porque es único. Detalles que me impidieron dar la nota máxima No le pongo la nota máxima porque, aunque me encantó, eché de menos un poco más de cariño en algunos detalles. Restaurante: Los cojines estaban sucios, aunque tengo que decir que el resto estaba impecable. ROOM 1: Mi habitación era muy bonita, pero no tanto como en las fotos. Siento que han dejado de cuidar algunos detalles: las cortinas estaban medio descolgadas o casi agujereadas, había barras sin cortinas y una bombilla colgando sin más. La ropa de cama tampoco era tan bonita como la de las fotos de la web (que se ven nuevas y lisas); la que encontré era más "normal" y no tan apetecible. Las almohadas eran viejas, eso sí, pero me las cambiaron rapidísimo cuando lo pedí. Sé que son solo detalles, pero creo que son precisamente esos pequeños toques los que construyen el ambiente general de un lugar, y por eso lo menciono, para que lo tengan en cuenta y lo vayan renovando. Sobre el guía turístico A última hora pedí un guía, y la media jornada me costó 80 euros. No sabía mucho de historia. Hay que pedirlo con tiempo e insistir si quieres hacer shopping u otro.
