Since at least 2006 (and perhaps 1998) it’s been well worth our leaving Kittery Point, ME before sunrise and driving a horrid 9+ hour 850 miles (last few hours also in the dark) to our favorite Econo Lodge (Fayetteville, NC) for the 1st leg of our 2-day 1500-mile drive to Siesta Key, FL. We usually leave in October, but this year we decided to spend Thanksgiving, then XMAS, then New Year’s weekend in ME. Mandy Lefkowith was most understanding and cooperative in rescheduling our reservations – and at our same rate. Our always very clean room/bathroom was even cleaner (everything newly re-done?) than we remember. We reserve the same room each year and always find our extra pillows awaiting our arrival without our even asking. It was great to see Jennifer again, to meet Xochitl, and to find the best popcorn in the world hot and ready for me to overindulge in. The only downside this year was not being able to say hi to Miss Rose since a NE storm forced us to reschedule our Saturday night arrival to Sunday (~10PM), and she had left earlier and does not come in early Monday mornings . . . so NEXT YEAR! :)

On route to our vacation destination, we stopped for an overnight at Econo lodge Fayetteville. Though we arrived late after dark, the reservation was held and we checked in quickly. It is conveniently not far from I-95 in a business area. The simple, basic rooms are all exterior access with surprisingly no security issues while we were there. There is a breakfast area by the lobby where continental breakfast of muffins, pastries, and juices are served. In the back of the hotel is a decent sized fenced in pool, though a swim was not on our schedule. Everything went fine and we had a decent time at the Econo lodge Fayetteville.

A wonderful staff including Dawn, Janet, Diane and Mandy. An America Flag overlooks the reception desk. It inspired me to sing "the Star Spangled Banner" The rooms are immaculately clean Great prices!

Check in was quick and the girls at the front desk friendly. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. It was easy to find but a little tricky getting into the property since there is road construction going on in the area. We had to go past the motel, turn around and come back up the other side of the highway for access to the entrance. We plan on stopping there again on our trip back through the area in December.

Goid, clean, well maintained location with excellent customer service. The breakfast is continental style with a good assortment of muffins, cereal juice, coffee, toast and waffles. I would stay here again.

Better late than never. (stayed here in May). Good, clean, large room, no thrills - did have 'fridge, micro, no coffee maker. Breakfast continental, TV 'economy' channels. Sheets/towels were very nice. Nice pool area, and some outside seating which is always a bonus. A/C was a little noisy, but the property was generally nice and quiet. Certainly would stay again..

We stay here frequently as we are visiting family. The staff is always friendly and rooms are always clean. Some rooms have better mattresses than others, we were lucky with room 120 this time. It had some give to the mattress which was very nice . Also we were over in a corner away from the backside of the hotel where the truckers park their vehicles. They come in at all hours so we did not have a distraction this time. Will be back in the next week to stay again. Keep the light on for us.

Rooms are always very clean when we stay at this location. Quiet location. Close to Interstate 95 and restaurants. Employees are helpful and friendly. Injured my big toe because the bathroom door is too close to the toilet.

Nice motel, good location, great price and more than sufficient. The reception was excellent, and the desk personnel where very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel property was very clean, with sufficient paking available.

This hotel is clean and affordable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It is an excellent pet friendly establishment. All the beds are new and very comfortable. You will not be disappointed staying here.
