Our stay at this Econo Lodge was pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good each morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The metro stop is within 10-12 minutes walking on an actual walking/bike path. We felt safe each time we walked to the metro. Restaurants within walking distance are limited. The hotel does not have an elevator which makes carrying heavy luggage difficult. Overall, a good experience.
Lack of accessible outlets in room (for charging phones and CPAP machine near bed), toilet ran constantly (and noisily), shower fixtures were loose in the wall and hard to turn on. The staff members were all lovely and helpful, but overall, the facilities are in need of maintenance and upgrading.
Easy check in with plenty of parking and very friendly staff. The room was quiet. The included breakfast was simple but okay. I would definitely stay here again.

For the price that I paid, I couldn't ask for more! However , I'm hoping that management will ensure the a/c unit is being maintained more regularly in the future to ensure guest comfort in the summertime cause it wasn't working very well. Breakfast was more than adequate and staff are very polite and helpful plus the EAST FALLS CHURCH METRO is only 7 mins away walking distance. Truly excellent and goes beyond my expectations.

I chose this property for its location to the highway and Metro line and the Falls Church area. Complimentary breakfast was adequate, but too many on-site "conveniences" were out-of-order/not working - vending machines in eating area (bottle beverage and personal items), coffee/hot water dispenser, and ice machine - in the dining area! Staff only serviced room every 3 days! Will look for different property, same area, on our next visit.

The room itself was fine. First night there was a loud screaming match at 4:30AM. The second night, got woken up to trash trucks at 6AM. Breakfast would have been better if it was better stocked. The guy "helping" with the headsets in his ears seemed really annoyed (not at me) but at whomever left their toast in the toaster...I had asked him if he knew who the toast belonged to and he just huffed and had a look of annoyance (which I totally understand as I think it's irresponsible). He seemed reluctant to help or refill food/plates, etc. as if he did not like his job (when others asked for dishes). (There were about 4 napkins left, zero danishes or muffins and 2 bagels left when I got there at 8:30AM, no bowls, a couple plates). Perhaps what needs to be more signs/labels (ie. remove the toast immediately so others may use it ) and also make sure guests know not to just send their children alone (as I saw some children just wandering and helping themselves--not sure anyone is monitoring but it would nice to see it more sanitary, esp. given COVID).
It was noisy until about 3am inside of the hotel. Food was dropped on the floor in front of our door and it took more than a day to clean up most of it. Great location for transportion and walking.
Do not accept room 200 off the lobby. Noise of heating/ac unit outside and the staff noise of their office next door does not make for sleep.
Really close to the monuments in Washington D.C.
