Übliche Ausstattung nicht vorhanden???

Das Hotel ist leicht zu finden und bietet einen extrem gepflegten ersten Eindruck. Alles sehr sauber und die Hotelmanagerin Maria ist extrem freundlich. Sie spricht perfekt Englisch und einige Brocken Deutsch. Das Zimmer ist - neben der schon gelobten Sauberkeit - sehr schön, wenngleich nicht allzu geräumig. Das Bad ist anscheinend frisch renoviert, es ist das derzeit übliche Design, wenngleich die Dusche nicht bodengleich ist, sondern nur eine flache Wanne. Einen kräftigen Abschlag gibt es allerdings wegen dem durchschnittlichem, fast schon lieblosem Frühstücksbuffet - Tee konnte ich z.B. überhaupt nicht finden, Müsli Fehlanzeige, nur 1 Sorte Wurst, kein Schinken - und wegen der fehlenden Ausstattung (kein Fernseher, kein Festnetz-Telefon auf dem Zimmer) bzw. Ausstattung nur gegen Aufpreis (Klimaanlage für 5 Euro/Tag, ebenso Kühlschrank-Nutzung). Das erinnert dann eher an Kloster auf Zeit, denn an Urlaub! Sehr gut empfand ich dagegen die Matratze: hart und nicht ausgelegen/zu weich plus dann noch ein gutes Fliegengitter am Fenster/Balkontür - das bereitet einen sehr erholsamen Schlaf! Der Pool ist sauber, ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirme vorhanden, Einstieg über Leiter, jedoch anscheinend nicht beheizt, so dass ab Anfang November die Sonne nicht mehr genügend aufheizen dürfte, um darin noch schwimmen zu können.

Gutes familiengeführtes Hotel in Strandnähe

Wir, ein älteres Paar, haben uns wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet, man verbringt ja die meiste Zeit draußen. Denn jeder Gast hat seine eigene Terasse, der Poolbereich war auch nie voll. Die Lage des Hotels eignet sich gut als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Strandaufenthalte. Vom lebendigen Ort Matala hört man nichts.

Ottima accoglienza e rapporto qualita prezzo. L hotel e nuovo ma potrebbe essere piu curato/ pulito. Colazione ok e abbondante. Wifi non funzionante 2 giorni su 2.

Hotel situato a 10 min a piedi da Matala centro, stanza piccola ma carina, bagno con doccia a tenda, come da tantissime parti, arredamento basic, piccolo terrazzino antistante la camera per appendere asciugamani e sedersi in tranquillità. Giardino gradevole, molto curato con bei fiori, piscina carina e tenuta bene, personale molto gentile e disponibile, colazione rivolta più agli adulti, poco per i bambini (colazione italiana, ma nemmeno yogurt o cioccolato o marmellate che non fossero di agrumi). Pulizia ok

Ein tolles, kleines familiäres Hotel

Vielen Dank an Maria und ihr Team vom Hotel Coral! Wir waren zum 1. Mal da und kommen bestimmt wieder. Besonders gefallen hat uns der schöne, große Pool mit vielen Liegen und Schirmen, die sauberen Zimmer, unseres war zwar ziemlich klein, hatte aber Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage und Fön. Kein TV, was wir aber gut fanden, da Matala viel zu schön ist um fernzusehen. Außerdem super: kostenloses W-LAN, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, die angeschlossene Pizzeria (gleichzeitig schöner Frühstücksraum) mit Blick auf die Berge. Das Meer und der Ort Matala sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir hatten wirklich einen ganz entspannten, schönen Urlaub und fühlten uns wie bei Freunden!
