This is a charming place. The bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast good with lots of healthy chouces. The staff we encountered was fun and energetic. I would stay here again!
Very cool place to stay in Fairbanks -- loved the historical nature of the house and the coffee/candy bar amenities. It's walkable to downtown; the home itself is perfect! I know the owners can do nothing about this, but the surrounding area isn't as well manicured (some homes a little run down, overgrown lawns, etc) but I believe it's only appearances and it seemed safe when we walked downtown.
I was in the Maid’s Room where I shared a bathroom with another tenant. In my 3 days there I had easy access to the bathroom and no notice of any other tenant using that bathroom. I called Telsey, the proprietress, multiple times when I had any concerns and she readily was available to address them. I would have no hesitations to stay there in the future.
Fantastic Victorian elegance. Spotless and inviting with a true to the period ambiance. I was amazed ay the authentic decorating skills of the owners. Spent more of my time inside rather than touring just to absorb the atmosphere.
No AC. No ability to store luggage for a few hours.
The breakfast was amazing. Great bamg for your buck. The staff was very nice, the history of the house was super interesting, and you can walk to downtown.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Heritage House on a business trip recently, and I can safely say It is one of the best places to stay in Fairbanks, wether for business or pleasure. The amount of history contained within is amazing, and that coupled with the styling and comfort make for a great combination. The room was extremely comfortable, and cozy and provides a nice escape from the outside world. Breakfast was amazingly delicious and the staff on hand were very gracious and helpful. I will definitely be making an effort to stay there again on any trips that bring me back to Fairbanks.
Charming and romantic B&B. This house has been lovingly restored. When you walk in, you feel that you have stepped back 100 years in time. Everything looks authentic and I believe most are. The large claw foot bathtub was great. Staff friendly and helpful, but not there most of the day (typical for B&B). Very good breakfast.
The best part was having breakfast with everyone downstairs in the dining room.and the hostess telling us about the house and history. The breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend The Heritage House.
Staff was personalable and warm. I was impressed and enjoyed the history of the house. The staff also did an amazing job of communicating prior to my arrival. They house is super close to all things of desire to downtown Fairbanks.

This was a beautiful B&B with an incredible breakfast and wonderful staff. I come to AK once a year and this will be where I stay from now on. I can not recommend it enough.
