The absence of sheets and towels with no clear advance notice was very inconvenient. We were traveling from North America and the expectation that we would bring our own sheets and towels is incredible. When we tried to rent the "towel and sheets" package we were told it was not available. Also, we were misinformed when we sought the dimensions for the duvets and were told simply that the size was "normal" or "routine". Hence, our duvet covers did not fit and the sleeping was not comfortable.The information regarding parking in the guest book was incomprehensible and the map was so small that it was impossible to read. When I tried to make contact and sought to rely on the claim that one could get help 24/7 I discovered that was, in fact, not true. I repeatedly got emails stating the I had received answers to my messages but that was substantively not true. I hired this cottage because it was a vacation rental by owner but that also was not true. Instead I had to deal with Novasol, which clearly was not the owner but a commercial agency, which didn't provide live help but instead sent automatic responses to my queries. Finally, you should be aware that the downstairs shower did not work because it was virtually impossible to adjust the temperature. Also, the toilets both had rust rings that we tried to clean with cleansers.
