Great for a nights stay in the heart of Exeter. Clean, tidy, on site parking for £10 a night (car can stay until 2pm) Very old building so bit of a maze but that’s part of its charm. No AC so would be hot in summer.

Basic double was fine. Everything we needed. Great location and plenty of breakfast options in town. Historic property so expect winding stairs and tight corners that comes with character. Only niggle was the heat of the room - but a fan was provided for the room if wanted. Great to have a parking option too in the middle of Exeter. Would stay again.

I felt this was expensive for the small room provided with a shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold. Staff were lovely but room was too hot, too small. If breakfast was included in the price it wouldn’t have felt so bad but very basic for the price.
