Lake Shore Cabins on Beaver Lake

We Stayed in Cabin 4 up on top of the mountain. This was our first time and once we arrived the place was beautiful. The interior decor was very nice. It was quiet and very relaxing. The staff was very helpful with anything we needed. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay again.

Our stay in Cabin #2 was our second time staying at Lake Shore Cabins. Cabin #2 doesn't have as clear a view of the lake, but since we were there in autumn, that did not matter as much. The interior of the cabin is homey and pretty spacious. We love having the gas fireplace in the cold weather. I believe the heat transfers to the bed area in cabin #3 better, but it is still comfortable. We bring food to prepare in the kitchen. Most of the necessities are provided. The closest restaurants are in Eureka Springs, so you might want to plan accordingly. The spa tub in both #2 and #3 is spacious enough for two. The cabin interior has a nice rustic appeal. The folks in the office are terrific. Be sure to arrive prior to 5pm or you may have to make special arrangements. Look for Whitetail Deer. They roam about freely on the property. You may spy a Bald Eagle and a variety of hawks. We may try a cabin further up the hill next time just to mix it up a bit. But note! I said there will be a next time.

We visited Lake Shore Cabins this weekend. The cabins are beautiful and right along a beautiful lake. Just bring groceries with you and rent a boat, and you will have no need to go into town. Great place to recharge and energize!

What a gem on Beaver Lake! The cabin is beautiful - very warm and inviting from the moment you walk through the front door. It has extra large bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, a very nice & clean! gas grill on the deck. So much thought was put into every little detail of the interior decor from the kitchen flatware, to the elegant master bath with a lake view free standing tub, plush spa worthy towels, very functional 4 chair table/bar off the kitchen for quick breakfasts, a hanging sunflower chair on the deck (where I had coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening ;) down to the little bear key chain. Our kids loved the swimming dock with cushioned lounge chairs and covered tables for the parents. The location of this cabin is perfect; a short walk to the lake but set up on the hill just enough that you have a little privacy. Both the cabin and grounds were extremely clean and very well maintained. The owners and everyone we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful! Especially when we had boat trouble while out tubing; within 5 minutes the Lake Shore office called us back with three names and phone numbers of repair persons to call. We enjoyed our vacation so much that we've already booked for next year! Thank you so much Dave and Donna!

If you want a really nice, quiet, relaxing place to stay this is for you! The people who own and run Lake Shores are extremely nice and care about each guest. I will stay here again for sure. We had a very nice cabin that we stayed in with full kitchen, air conditioning, large bathroom and very comfortable bed not to mention the covered back porch that ran the entire length of the cabin. I cannot say enough good things about Lake Shore Cabins!!

We were asked to stay with some friends here this June. Didn’t know what to think? It turns out that the place is great! Lots to do the property is close to the marina and park. The only improvement I would recommend is renting some boats. Great cabins and clean grounds. Would come back.

We just spent the last weekend here for our wedding weekend. We stayed in cabin #7. It was a wonderful location with an amazing view. The only negative on our whole trip was some noisy neighbors. If we decide to go back again we will request a cabin on the end. I am positive that if we had complained the owners would have handled the situation but we just decided to deal with it. Donna was very responsive and great to work with on the planning. The cabins are very clean and have all the amenities you need. We splurged and went for the couples massage in the room. Ahhhmazing!! We also did the private chef brunch. The steak and eggs benedict were superb.

We stayed in Cabin #8. It's a perfect place to sit on the covered porch and take in the beautiful view in privacy. The decor is very nice down to the smallest detail. Kitchen is fully stocked including a crockpot, blender, toaster, pitchers, etc. If the weather is cold, there is a tv, dvd/bluray library, and a big table to play cards/games. You can schedule a chef to prepare, serve and clean up right in your cabin. Staff is very helpful and available 9 to 5pm every day. Phone numbers posted on fridge for after-hour needs. About a 20 min mountain drive to downtown Eureka Springs. The only disappointment we had was that we were asked not use the internet to stream movies. But the DVD library helped in that regard. We definitely recommend cabin #8. They have other cabins on the edge of the water, but we liked the view from higher up. The lower cabins also seemed closer to each other with less outside privacy.

This was our second stay here. First time was in Cabin #8, which was great. This time we had friends join us in the Tree Top Penthouse and it was just amazing. The view is jaw dropping. You mainly see the sunrise, but get some great sunset color as well. Panoramic views of Beaver Lake are to die for. The huge picture window in the luxurious living room with a fireplace is an incredible place to reflect or read a book if the weather doesn’t allow one to take advantage of the great boat dock with swim ladder and boat slips or other options for getting on the lake. We took our out-of-state friends into Eureka Springs and to Crystal Bridges Museum, which are easy day trips. You can also get a nice 3-5 miles of walking down/around the lake and/or down to the recreation area and marina or a 10 minute drive to Lake Leatherwood that offers good hiking. So many fabulous things about this location! Furnishings are top-notch; the king size bed in the master one of the comfortable on which we’ve slept. Bathrooms are huge with 2-person-sized showers and jetted tub in the master. Kitchen was extremely well-equipped, including Caphalon pots and pans and utensils for real cooking, like whisks and tongs. Island seats 4 and large wooden dining room table seats 6 very comfortably. Huge deck overlooking the lake extends the length of the penthouse, with seating for 8 outside of the living room and a hot tub a large gas grill a bit further down in front of the master bedroom. A smaller deck seats another 4 off the kitchen. Just fabulous for entertaining, relaxing, and enjoying the view and the prolific bird population. I booked an in-room massage that was pure heaven. There are also in-room dining options we didn’t try, and the very well-stocked gift shop below carries Schwann’s frozen foods, bacon and eggs, and other staples if you run short on groceries. The only minor complaint is with the Internet service. The “basic” service is very slow. No large downloads or streaming allowed, which was fine with us, but even checking the weather or sites where pictures were involved (like Trip Advisor!) were painfully slow. Service from booking through our stay was terrific. We stayed “off-season”, so got a superb rate for these luxury digs. This is our “go-to” on Beaver Lake - can’t imagine going anywhere else.

My husband & I loved being away from the busy hustle & bustle of downtown Eureka Springs, but close enough to drive to & enjoy when we wanted. The staff at Lake Shore Cabins were very hospitable, courteous, & friendly. We stayed in Cabin #4 which was very clean, cozy, & comfortable...we felt right at home. The furnishings, decor,& well equipped kitchen are so nice---including the outdoor grill. We will miss our meals on the balcony while looking at the beautiful view of the lake & Ozark hills...also the deer that grazed by our cabin everyday. We leave here rested, relaxed, & refreshed.
