We went to the coast...when asked where the beach was, he responded, I don’t know where the beach is. When we called down to get a list of channels for the TV, he told us there wasn’t one. The next morning while checking out, the new clerk told me there’s supposed to be a book with a list of channels in it. She said he should have brought one up to us. We had to flip thru the channels one by one. Very inconvenient. The breakfast was great. The room was comfortable and I loved the pillows.

They sold the room I booked thr. . Orbitz to someone else and told me Expedia credit card was invalid and sold me another room as had no chance of finding some other hotel in the middle of the night. Bad and lying management.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. One of the nicer hotels in the Arcata area. Would definitely stay there again!

The room was clean. No fridge or microwave for rooms with a king size bed, so that's a bummer. Mostly quiet, when there was a party across the hall, staff responded quickly and it was shutdown. There was hair on the shower wall the entire time of my stay. Best option of the available hotels.

Did not like no refrigerator or microwave in a room that was 160 per night

The hot tub I was looking forward to on our girls weekend was out of order. You can hear the people from the upstairs coughing and running around. Close to food.

Great Breakfast more than helpful staff. Very comfortable room. The pool and hot tub were great.

Hotel is newer, so everything is clean and fresh. Front desk person acted professionally.

Had the king suite with wet bar and refrigerator. Spacious room, comfy bed.

Always nice experience there. They provided a crib for the baby and very nice breakfast.

Took a road trip down the coast, to see the Redwoods this summer. Arcata was a good stopping point, and we chose this hotel as it looked like it was a nicer place in town. Hotel staff were nice, rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. No complaints. I have recommended this stop to a friend who is going down the coast later this fall.

Unlike other hotels I've stayed at when traveling for business, the Hampton provided everything I needed free of charge. Wi Fi...Free. Business center...Free. Printing...Free. The gym and pool area were nice. The breakfast was a bonus and the lobby area was beautiful. Not what I was expecting at all!

Arcata is a small old town. Most places in town are old and run down or musty. This place was clean and close to the freeway. I wish my room had a minifridge. The breakfast eggs were overcooked. Need more fresh fruit

Nicest hotel in the area. Only bad experience was the TV volume was programmed too low- cant have the room fan on and hear the TV also- made it too uncomfortable

Very good, so far the best in Arcata, CA.
