What a great little spot to spend the night in the mountains! We were greeted by the friendly front-desk staff who were also able to help us navigate dinner plans and gave a quick background of this lodge. Our room was quaint, but had everything we needed except a toaster -- but! Thankfully Miguel was able to hook us up so we could toast our bagels. The best part was time spent in the outdoor hot tub in the snow. Stop by to check out our wine-fuelled snow angels! We will definitely stay again.
Everything was perfect I liked very much I’ll stay there again
The staff here is always so friendly and professional. Great historic property with excellent views.
Loved this property. It has a beautiful view of the park while maintaining and lodgey homey vibe. Our suite room, with its original clawfoot tub feels like a throwback to the past while having some nice cosmetic updates that fit that old-timey feel. Love having a kitchenette available and hopefully next time we'll be able to check out their kitchen which was unfortunately closed due to COVID.
Room was Very clean the staff extremely helpful and great. Pool and Hot tub clean and nice area to relax.
Lovely property!
The lodge was very convenient to everything in the area. Because of it's location you could almost see everything in town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms had a rustic feel will great decor. I definitely would stay again.
Very nice and friendly staff. The location is conveniently located near Rocky mountain national park. Family friendly environment. We have really liked this place.
Very pretty property. Plenty of wildlife around if you sit on the front porch and hang out a while you may see some deer, chipmunks, and rabbits. The rooms were nice and cozy with a kitchen, living area and comfy bedroom. There is no A/C which we did not know. It was only warm during the day, then cooler at night. Overall a very pleasant stay, we would recommend and we would stay again.
I booked for one night to rest after we had a long Drive from rocky Mountain back and forth. Was so disappointed when we arrives in the room. It was so hot there is no air conditioning but there is no good ventilation either. The electric fan when we turned on is wabbling jumping off the floor and the ceiling fan at number 3 is like working at 0.5. and in the room is one small tiny table fan. There is no internet, we are the one who called the I.T. to get internet connection and waited dialing for 30 minutes before we were able to get connected to I.t. personnel. With such room condition we ended leaving the facility and drove back to Denver in hampton inn. We left the lodge at atound 830pm. I have asthmatic condition with such poor ventilation will end me up with sick stomach and terrible headache. I dont know how people could swalllow their food and earning from the hard money people pay to them and giving us back such a crappy service. Me and my son didnt really use the room. I thought we could have good rest on arrival but I is a complete DISASTER. Give our money back.
The resort staff was just wonderful. Facility is extremely clean and has tons of charm. We could not have asked for a better way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
The staff was amazing, especially Drake! They all made us feel right at home. We had a great stay and definitely plan on returning in the future!
Beautiful location, views and ambiance! Most definitely will be back.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Will be back again.
Stayed here for one week in July for vacation to hike in Rocky Mountain National Park ("RMNP"). I have stayed in several lodges in and near national parks. I recommend this lodge for its location, service, and amenities. No real complaints, though of course no air conditioning but that is typical--there was a ceiling fan in the living space and a box fan for moving around the suite and these helped a lot. Barb, who welcomed us and took care of us most of the week, was outstanding! She helped resolve an Orbitz reservation issue, gave us exceptional concierge service to make our trip even that much better including a town and park orientation, and she even saw us taking out some trash from our room and took care of it for us. All of the staff were very courteous and seemed to genuinely want to ensure you had a good stay.
Walked into a lovely lobby with a fire and two sofas next to the fireplace. I wish I was staying longer so I could take the time to enjoy it. The room is small but nicely set up with a kitchenette and a table for two in the window overlooking town. Loveseat across from the television. There is a DVD player and movies available in the lobby to check out. Bath is very nice.
Decent location. Very dated. Old bathroom. Bed and pillows are not comfortable. Definetely “hostoric”.
