Great cabin in the woods

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin in the woods! From the moment we booked, the communication from the host was prompt and accurate, making the whole process seamless and stress-free. The house itself was impeccably set up, with everything clearly labeled, which made settling in a breeze. The cabin was cozy yet spacious, perfect for a family getaway. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights for us was the creek in the backyard. My kids had a blast exploring it, and it quickly became their favorite part of the trip. The serene surroundings and natural beauty made our stay even more special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely return again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Tranquil and private retreat

Overall was such a lovely experience. The cabin was charming with a wraparound deck with forest views, the sounds of the stream below, and viewing of some elk one evening. Although not far off the main highway, it felt like you were miles in the forest.

Comfortable cabin in a beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay with family in this very comfortable cabin in a stunning location. Very easy access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The wifi worked very well.

Great Getaway

We enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin but the easy drive into town. The cabin was nice, clean, and comfortable. The check in/out process was easy. The owners were responsive to questions. We plan to visit the cabin again.

Wonderful!!!

We spent 3 nights during Spring Break at this property! It was spectacular! Location was beautiful! Not too far from Estes but felt like we were truly in the wilderness. Traveled with my husband, 15 year old, and twin 11year olds…all boys! We scouted all over outside, lots of games of hide and seek in the snow. Enjoyed the sleds…quite the bonus! Weather was beautiful, even had lunch on the deck over looking the snow and enjoying the beautiful views of Twin Sisters. We received 8” of snow our last night. The drive was cleared before 8:30 the next morning for us, making for an easy departure! Only downside was the low water pressure in the DS bathroom. We quickly figured out not to use any water anywhere else while someone was in that shower…so not a big deal after that. You just don’t want to be washing your long hair when it goes to low flow. :o) The vrbo agents for this property were very quick to respond and check-in/out was so simple! This is definitely one of our favorite places! We plan to try it in the summer sometime so we can do more hiking! Thank you!

Peaceful Mountain Cabin

MY husband and I had a 5 star experience at this adorable cabin. It is wonderfully located providing both remote feel in nature and proximity to multiple RMNP entrances, Estes Park, Local breweries, and highway 7 which is gorgeous route to Red Rocks Amp which we did one night and stayed in Morrison. The cabin porch and grill was a fun and beautiful in the afternoons after hiking all day. Cabin has big windows which is great for viewing the beautiful property. Would definitely recommend for adults or families as property is remote and children can play in the big yard.

October Snow Fun

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! The accommodations were cozy and comfortable for 5 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials. My favorite feature was the view! There are picture windows in every room of the main floor with breathtaking views of the property and the mountains. I woke up early each morning to go upstairs and peek over the pine trees to see the sun rising. Each night we had a crackling fire in the living room fireplace. Our days were filled with hiking and playing in the snow, on the property and at nearby Rocky Mountain National Park (20 min to entry gate). A 2-mile drive got us to Lily Lake for excellent hiking, fishing, and cell service. We were blessed to get nearly 18" of snow in 2 days, so our kids had a blast with the sleds and snowshoes that were at the cabin. Because we ended up with so much snow, we were glad to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up the last part of the driveway and navigate the curvy mountain roads. The location is at least 1.5 hours from Denver Airport. Thank you to Diane for being the best host we've ever had. She was so helpful in answering questions and ensuring a great stay. She even hooked us up with fishing poles. We will always treasure the memories we made at the Enchanted Cabin in Estes Park!

A True Break From Reality!

Our stay at the cabin was perfect and everything as advertised. It was a truely secluded retreat from the realities of the day and served as the perfect location to use as our home base for day hikes into the Rockies. We took one of Diane's recommended hikes from her guest book that turned out amazing. The views from the porch were spectacular especially at sunrise. There was more than enough space for 3 adults, the kitchen was stocked with all you need, including a skillet for pancakes! The hot water was quick to respond and lasted. I will definitely return on my next Rocky Mountain Adventure.

Perfect Fall Stay

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cabin last week. We watched a bobcat chase a rabbit right outside the living room window. We were awoken to the sounds of elk bugling every morning and watched a herd walk through the property on their way up the mountain for the day. Days were spent hiking in RMNP, shopping downtown and taking in all that Estes Park has to offer. I’d highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for something a little more rustic but has all the comforts of home. We’d definitely stay here again! Fabulous hosts who have gone out of their way to ensure their guests are comfortable. Thanks Diane and Christian for your hospitality!

Great spot in your own splendid mountain get away.

This cabin is an excellent choice for those who are interested in experiencing the beauty of the area around RMNP. It is only a 20 ride from Estes but it seems like you’re in your own national park. 10 acres and you don’t see your neighbors - but you do so some elk and deer who wander through now and then. Beautiful surroundings, can see the mountains from the deck. We literally walked 1/2 mile to a trailhead that took us to Storm Pass - a 6 mile round trip with a 1000 foot elevation climb - nice! The unit was very well maintained and stocked - there was nothing we needed or wanted that wasn’t there. The listing is highly accurate. We had no need to contact the owners during our stay but they made sure to check that all was ok with us. We will go back!

Perfect getaway place !!

You have to see this place to believe it. The peace and tranquility of the mountains and location are just amazing. BEST sleep I’ve had in years. Our party of four all agreed. Amazing views from all windows. Contact with the owners is so easy and they were so helpful. The cabin has all the amenities we needed and then some. We will definitely be returning!!!
