• This cabin sits in Solitude Cabins, a community of 45 mountain cabins. The shared hot tub is next to the Solitude Lodge, a few minutes by foot, and closes strictly at 9 pm.



• Check‑in is 4 pm or later and check‑out is 10 am or earlier. Early check‑in may be purchased only within 24 h of arrival if the cleaning schedule allows.

Tucked away at the top of the Solitude Cabins community is this little retreat! Look west from the deck while grilling out for sweeping views of Longs Peak, Mount Meeker and Twin Sisters. Inside, vaulted knotty‑pine ceilings, a gas fireplace and hardwood floors create classic Colorado warmth.



Two king suites, a pull‑out sofa and a fully stocked kitchen make family trips effortless, while downtown Estes Park shopping, Lake Estes trails and Rocky Mountain National Park’s hikes are minutes away.

The Solitude HOA is a quiet neighborhood of vacation cabins near Lake Estes, just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park. This is a peaceful, family-friendly resort community. It encompasses 45 standalone cabins, a main lodge with 7 hotel-style rooms, and a meeting space/gathering area. The grounds cover 9 acres and back up to wild forest to the east, so wildlife frequent the neihgborhood. Lake Estes has a great walking path around it and is about a 5-10 minute walk from the property. Solitude is only a few minutes by car to downtown Estes Park.



You will need a car to really enjoy your time in Estes Park, though the town`s free summer shuttle does have a stop in the Solitude neighborhood. That shuttle runs from July to September and will take you to downtown, and from there you can take other shuttles around the Estes Valley.



NO SMOKING, NO FIRES



This home was a few miles away from one of the largest forest fires in Colorado history a few years ago. This is now a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park`s vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. Gas is OK.



ROAD CONDITIONS



Estes has a great plow team and our parking area will also be plowed during storms, but if there`s a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!
