This hotel is over priced and in the middle of nowhere. The rooms are very over priced and are in desperate need of renovation. The woodchip wallpaper in the room might have been ok in the 1980s but not now. There was no heating in the room I had to get a heater from reception. The out of date decor and the lack of a good lick of paint spoiled my time there. There were not enough electrical sockets in the room, not even one next to the bed. The only good thing was their food, expensive but very tasty.
One night only but impressed. Room was fine and service / help on reception very good. Hotel had a clean modern feel to it. Would certainly stay again if I return to the area on business, and recommend it others.
We liked the warm welcome we received of the staff, that was very nice after an 8 hour drive. Room was clean an comfortable. we requested a baby bed and upon arrival it was already in the room. The hotel is quite kid friendly. The advertisement said that you needed to request a parking space but I think that was not necessary. Upon arriving there were enough parking spaces available. When I received the bill it was more then expected. After making the person behind the counter aware of this he corrected the bill.
I stayed only one night in a superior (!!!) room. The room was at the ground floor. It's a 4 star hotel in an industrial zone. There was no AC in the room. When I asked the reception a room with an AC they answered there is none and the weather is not hot !!! Besides that, if you want to open a window in order to get a breeze or fresh air, mosquitos and flies are everywhere. I paid around 160 Euros to this underclass room. I will never pass by this hotel.
The hotel staff was really rude, didn't smile and greet the clients. On top of it when we called for room service, they didn't even talk properly on the phone. The hotel was nice, a lil over priced but the staff put us off completely!
I stayed here for 1 night, I found the hotel conveniently located and plentiful of parking spots free of charge. The hotel is in an area with easily accessible restaurants all around. The room was basic but clean. The bathroom was horrible! I had the impression I was taking a shower in an MRI tube. Overall not bad but I would not return there if given the opportunity.
I organised a school trip for some students and I was looking for somewhere to stay in between the legs of our journey. The customer service was really amazing to help me find the best solution. We booked one night with dinner and breakfast. Reception was brilliant and very patient with my students. Rooms were perfect, very clean (the cleaning lady was so nice the following morning with the kids who locked their keys in or forgot stuff in the bathroom) Food was very good. The breakfast buffet is amazing. My students loved it and didn't want to leave.
I stayed at the Novotel Evry Courcouronnes for two weeks a while ago. The property was located around 2 kilometers from the Evry-Courcouronnes railway station and easily was reachable by taxi or bus even on weekends. The check-in process was fairly quick and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The check-out process was also quick. As far as the design and layout was concerned, one drawback was the long haul to the elevator from the reception. Coming to the actual room, The room was quite spacious though it should have had a proper wardrobe. The bathroom had a shower and sink. The WC was located in a separate chamber. The bed was not very comfortable though. The room had a business table and really fast and powerful WIFI. The room also had a water kettle and an empty mini-bar. Coming to the food, the breakfast was excellent with well-prepared bakery items, sausages, boiled and scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit and juices. The restaurant menu lacked depth and so did the room service menu which needs to be looked into. The price was too high for the quantity of food. Overall, the Novotel Evry Courcouronnes should be a good place for short term business travelers.
Almost, because the bathroom is relatively small compared to the room itself. Specially the toilet didn't give a very good impression as it is in a separate enclosement where not a lot of fresh air can get in. On the other hand the bathroom was very functional with the shower/bath combination and a very well placed showercurtain. The bed is really comfortable and the big sofa give the room a big feel. I could not turn off the heating. Luckily I could open a window. Friendly check-in staff. Breakfast is good. Plenty of parking space.
The Evry Courcouronnes Novotel seems to be an older one, but the rooms are the standard Novotel style, constantly renovated. This one is quite big and has also a great parking lot. Location is not that fancy, actually the hotel surroundings are not very attractive for an evening walk. There are a few (chain) restaurants within walking distance, otherwise the place is ok for an overnight stay.
