noisy room from traffic, close window then too hot. no AC or fan. no lift. food was poor. Bed clean and comfy. Good power shower. pets accepted in room. poor choice for dinner, restaurant closes 9:30pm.

I appear to be visiting hotels with facilities that close on the day I visit, so unlike the Queen who thinks everything smells of wet paint, I think all hotel bars and restaurants are closed! This hotel is a business hotel that does not want weekend visitors. We arrived late on a Friday evening on a one night stay in a quad room. The hotel is situated on an industrial estate next to a motorway, the welcoming sign indicating that the car park has no CCTV greeted us as we drove into the empty car park. The reception guy was okay and paused his telephone conversation to deal with us. Our room was on the top floor, was large clean and spacious but very hot and noisy from road noise from a motorway outside that never quiets down...slight exaggeration but when I got to sleep finally at 4 it was still noisy.....better air con and sound insulation would help. Breakfast was good although guy overseeing, when not looking at his smart phone, was a little eager to clean away the buffet but not the dishes from other tables..might have been hungry. This hotel follows the formula of a budget business hotel so can't fault that model , breakfast was good, as was the price, got 4 hours sleep so not happy with that and the fact restaurant and bar shuts at the weekend and staff acted like as if they would rather be elsewhere...I certainly wished I was.

Stayed in Kyriad Linas Monthlery recently and I found it a little tired. The decor inside and out need updating. the Garden is gone wild and the whole cleanliness needs to improve. there is now lift ( stayed on 4th floor) which was very disappointing. the Bedroom was comfortable, but somethings did not work ( kettle, no plug in sink, shower was not working properly etc) . Lovely views and seemed promising, but just needs more love guys.......

We've chosen this hotel for our sleep-over on our way to the south. For this purpose, this hotel is very good value for its price. Good location not far from the highway but that also means that the room is a bit noisy. However breakfast makes up for that. ;-)

Well, there are very few positive things to say about this hotel: it was cheap enough, there is a huge parking lot and the personnel was nice. For the rest, My advice would be really to avoid it. This was probably the dirtiest hotel in which I ever happened to be. My husband and I spent there just one night, as it was close to the place we had to visit the morning afterwards - and that was more than enough. When we entered the room a very unpleasant smell of feet welcomed us. The little bathroom was even worse: it smelled like humid and mold. And there was mold indeed: around the tap and the shower ceilings. The carpet was really dirty, with huge visible spots. Fortunately, we did not booked the breakfast. Avoid it.

This is a good place to stop overnight on the way South. The hotel is basic but the staff are pleasant. When we objected to a 5th floor room (this hotel has no lift) they found us a ground floor one. Also they would have been prepared to carry our luggage upstairs for us. The restaurant is closed in the evenings at weekends - we are used to this but do find it a nuisance. We have stayed here before and will stay here again because of the location and the very reasonable price.

We stayed at the Kyriad for eight nights, mainly because it is so close to the French rugby training centre (20-25 minutes walk away). Not the most salubrious of locations - on a trading estate next to a two lane motorway - but what we wanted was ease of access the road (and rugby centre) and that is what we got. We could be on the motorway (N20) to Paris within 2-3 minutes of leaving the hotel, which was perfect. Paris itself is under 30 minutes away - we'd recommend parking on the edge where the metro stops, somewhere like Ivry where in August is free parking all day! The staff were helpful and friendly. The room itself (a double) was small but functional. Clean, with all the basic requirements. Hard to fault, especially for the price. We were, however, on the main road side so in August there was a choice of a warm night or motorway noise, but frankly it did not really disturb our sleep. Negatives: *No lifts, which was not a major problem for us, but might be for some. *In August, although you can get breakfast, there is no restaurant service in the evening. Not a major problem as you can walk into Linas in 10 minutes and there are a couple of nice places there - or a cornucopia of varied places to eat in a 10-15 minute drive *If you have no car, however, this is probably no recommended as public transport links are few - just one bus service, essentially, and that in the village. The nearest railway station is St Michel sur Orge, which is a good 15-20 minutes drive.

There was a huge problem on june 14th when my wife and I reached the scheduled hotel; no reservation has been received by the Kyriad Hotel in Linas Monlhéry France. The reception office had great difficulties to find us a spare room in an other hotel (located at more than 30 kms from Linas), and I had to pay one more time, at a rate of quite the double initial price scheduled with "Easytobook". I'm just now waiting, first your explanations, and secondly your advice about the way you entend to repair your “error”. Kyriad Linas had yet written to me the attestation that nothing was received in their booking network from you or from any other booking organization, and the attestation that my wife and I were really in their place at the right moment (and very disappointed…) . I'm now waiting the appropriate and fast reply from your desk, on my mail address. With my consideration. Daniel Tabard

We booked a family room for 4. The Kyriad Linas Montlhéry called to check our arrival, checkin was very pleasant, room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was large enough, free coffee was supplied, the kids and we had a great stay.

I spent a few days in this hotel thanks to my cheapskate employers. You can probably tell I wasn't too impressed. Mind you, they probably got value for money, but I didn't. There were some redeeming features - the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was rather good. Unfortunately the rooms are pretty small and the place is quite dated. The beds are reasonably comfortable. The lights are awful, particularly the one they didn't put near the combo wardrobe/shelving unit - had to chose my underrods and socks by touch in the morning. The wifi is free, but - like many places these days - it doesn't have enough bandwidth so in the evening when the patrons are probably downloading nefarious movies (not me, I hasten to add, purely classical music only....) the speed drops off very badly. But the worst thing is the road. If I tell you I could almost read the licence numbers of vehicles passing in the night, you'll know how close it was. Luckily, the double glazing is very good, otherwise I'd have asked to be moved. The reason I didn't is that at the time the outside temperature was between freezing and about 18 degrees and I only had to open the window once (and then couldn't sleep due to the incessant traffic passing all through the night) to cool the room down a bit. I'd dread to be there in the spring onwards. As I don't think they could guarantee a rear room facing away from the road, my advice would be - don't stay here. And to my company - if you ever send me to such a hotel again, beware!!
