Rooms don't look anything like the picture. Carpet was so filthy and stained couldn't walk around w/o shoes. Furniture was old and not good shape. No drinking cups etc Shower had mold in corner Deadbolt to outside door broken

Orbitz misled me to believe that the king suite was one of the renovated rooms. Unfortunately, when I checked in, it hadn't been renovated and smelled of smoke, the king mattress had to be at least 30 years old because it sank in the middle. There was mold in an old stand-up shower which looked like a shower from a campground. I was being charged $220/night for something that was maybe worth $50/night. Fortunately, the staff was gracious and gave me a full refund after staying only one night. Avoid booking the suites here until you can get absolute confirmation that they have been renovated. Your health is at risk.

Kind of expensive for what you get. 120$ for a parking view. Jacuzzi covered with foam. No food service if you set at the bar strange. Tom was clean. Downstairs rooms are ready for renovation. I changed it from to an upstairs one which had been somewhat renovated. Well pick it a different hotel next time.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is well located in the UP with easy access to pictures rock park (1 hour )

The pictures were nothing like the actual room we stayed in. Had I seen what the actual room looked like, I would have not picked this location!

Very clean rooms, the suite was very large, and the staff is exceptional. Great bar and grill on premises, beautiful view of the bay, we already booked a return trip for October!

This place is not new but has been well-maintained. It is clean and I felt safe traveling during a pandemic. The staff is very helpful. I left my car key in my room after checking out. They called me and mail the key back to my home as I requested. Great customer support.

Mattress felt like cardboard. Shower couldn't decide if it wanted to be hot or cold. Room was nice besides that.

The hotel could use some renovation and cleaning.

Actual room looked nothing like picture. Very aged and worn. Sheets barely went over top edge of mattress. Old thin mattress. Not worth the money. Will not stay there again. I guess the restaurant is a local favorite.

Our room did not look like the picture at all. They are renovating the hotel on the water side but we were on land side and it needed work. Staff was unable to have breakfast because of the COVID but had a choice of a muffin or a bar. Ice pool and hot tub. Food in the restaurant was very good and large portions.

The water very nice view............................

The pictures on orbitz of the rooms is not even close to what we experienced. It’s a great price, but they need to set better expectations on what the rooms will actually look like.

Rooms were not kept up to date and had paint pealing in rooms

The dining room area was beautiful for the venue.the staff members were focused on the customer.

Its "up north" and we get that part, however the main picture used on orbitz looks absolutely nothing like the majority of the rooms at his hotel. The room we stayed in was a dump and had dirty carpet and chairs. We inquired with the front desk and she admitted only 7 rooms have been remodeled. Nice people, nice location, misleading pictures and Orbitz should be ashamed of this misrepresentation

They charge me and I was never in that place because the reviews where horrible

This is the second Thanksgiving staying at The Terrace Bay Hotel. We stayed last year and celebrated our Father’s 90th Birthday with dinner and then celebrated Thanksgiving there for dinner. The staff upgraded us to a room on the bay side. It was very comfortable and a great experience. This year we were in a front room and when asked if there was a bayside room available , we were told that it would be $60 extra. The room we stayed in was uncomfortable and noisy. We will be looking for another option when we isit next year.
