Relax in the luxury of this serene retreat featuring a hot tub, king bed, vast backyard near to multiple amenities and close to Boulder AND Denver. Nestled in the heart of Erie you will find it a convenient location to gather with family and friends. Totally private, yet close to miles of trails, parks, single track bike trails, disc golf, breweries, shops, Colorado National Golf Course and more. This home is complete with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Great location close to Denver and Boulder (about 20-30 minutes away) and the mountains areas are easily accessible via I25.

An enjoyable time can be had by all at the home making use of the fenced yard landscaped with numerous seating areas. You'll enjoy the back deck with dining table as well as 'the secret garden' with plenty of chairs. There is an additional seating area next to the house with more chairs to enjoy the evenings. The backyard also features a large connect 4, badminton area, and Cornhole. Play catch or have a tea party in the aspens, or play cornhole with friends. When it’s time for the evening to wind down relax in the hot tub.

The house has High Speed Business Wifi. There is also a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with Bosch gas cooktop, Bosch dishwasher, stainless appliances and fully equipped with everything you need to cook and bake.

The family room has a TV and large sectional sofa. The open floorplan then features the gourmet kitchen with stainless steel applianeces and fully equipped with all of the items you might need to cook or bake. There is a coffee/tea bar with Keurig K-Duo Plus coffee maker allowing you to make a cup or use the thermal carafe to make a pot of coffee. A Nepresso Vertuo and electric kettle are also provided. Exit the kitchen to the sunny deck overlooking the lush yard great for lounging, enjoying meals and relaxing.

The master bedroom has a Stearns & Foster Luxury Cal King bed with Adjustable Base and comfy bedding for a great night's sleep along with a 65" TV, ceiling fan and an attached master bathroom with shower and large soaking tub.

The 2nd Bedroom features a Queen size bed, ceiling fan and 42" TV. The 3rd bedroom has a Full over Full size bunk bed and a desk with chair. In the 3rd bedroom closet you can find a vast dvd selection as well as puzzles, games, toys, a train set, lincoln logs, picasso tiles, books, duplo legos, a pack n play, booster seat that can be fastened to any chair for use as a highchair, baby bath tub and much more to make your family as comfortable as possible.

Erie has a quaint downtown area just a short drive from the house with great restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, shopping and different events happening throughout the year. If you are an avid biker or runner, there are many nearby trails as well as single track downhill bike trails nearby. Also find nearby Thomas Reservoir for a stroll or fishing, Colorado National Golf Course, Outlet Mall shopping and more.

On calmer mornings during warmer months, you can often spot hot air balloons in the sky. They launch near Erie as it is the Front Range’s most popular hot air balloon adventure destination.

Getting away from the Southern heat and humidity!

Serene visit to Colorado

The backyard was beautiful and the kids had a wonderful time playing volleyball and crochet. The hot tub was a highlight of our stay. The kitchen was gorgeous with great finishes and we made some great meals and memories!

We stayed here during parents weekend at CU Boulder. It was a great house. We had a short but easy drive to Boulder. The town was nice with great food. Shelley was a great host. We will definitely stay again!

Best Family Retreat Ever

I rented this VRBO for have a home base for family gathering with my 4 year old and 9 year old grandsons. Their 14 year old cousin was my helper. Other family stopped in for a meal or family time. There is no other home like it on VRBO.. it is impeccably furnished and supplied, as if it were your own home. Not a commercial rental. Clean, roomy, welcoming with a back yard not to believed. My boys excitement when they saw it said it all As we pulled out to leave, they both whined, we miss this house already. Lovely play parks and water park nearby. Wonderful small town with a number of interesting restaurants. For us, it was the perfect family retreat!

Girls trip

Wanted to celebrate one daughter’s promotion, granddaughter’s high school graduation and another granddaughter’s kindergarten graduation. What a pleasure to stay in one place that wasn’t a city but had that nearby. Being able to be gathered together for meals that we prepared in a beautiful and amazingly well appointed kitchen, then relaxing in the hot tub or playing games was perfect. Shelley is a truly amazing host with great communication. You just can’t go wrong with this place. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. I’m already trying to decide when to come back!!!

Good times

As a rental owner myself, I can appreciate how organized Shelley is and how well-stocked her house is. My brother-in-law is a chef and was able to pull together some fabulous meals in the rental kitchen due to the vast array of supplies available and great grill. Shelley responded quickly to any questions I had. We enjoyed walking through the lovely neighborhood and found grocery stores nearby. We definitely are considering stay here again in the future.

Lovely serene home away from home

I could not recommend this VRBO enough. The house is in a beautiful quiet location with the most amazing outdoor space to relax and the inside was cozy and clean just perfect. The family room made for the perfect place to wind down and watch a movie or just relax together. The living room and dining room also gave us adults some space to chat while the kids were in the other family room. We stayed here to drop my daughter off at college and it was exactly what we needed. After the chaos and hustle and bustle of Boulder coming back to this house was an immediate reprieve. The drive to Boulder is not far and is beautiful with horse pastures and flower and fruit stands along the way. It is equally as close to Denver making getting to the airport very easy. The owners were incredibly responsive when we had questions and very accommodating with our travel schedule. It was very so clean and the extra touches like a toothbrush (in case you forget) and the coffee machine were so lovely. We will most certainly be staying here again!

4 family members gathered here to visit family in Boulder area. This house was so welcoming and well equipped with anything/everything we needed and then some! We hosted a family barbecue with adults and young kids, and the backyard and inside playroom kept he kids very happy. The host was so good about quickly answering any and all of our questions. The location worked well: it was quiet and away from busy areas, but a quick drive to any place we wanted to go in the Boulder area. Thanks, Shelley!

Perfect mid size home in serene neighborhood near Boulder

My family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights for a destination wedding in Boulder. The home was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and had a beautiful back yard for outdoor enjoyment. Great getaway

Perfect location 20 min east of Boulder and 45 min south of Estes Park. 10 min drive to the nearest grocery store. Numerous hiking trails and fun family activities nearby. House was fully furnished and had many extras to make us feel more at home. Property was clean and perfect for the entire family. Large grill in the back yard and a nice back deck to enjoy the cool evenings. Children’s playset and trampoline to keep the kids busy. Lot of games and puzzles for the kids as well. Property host checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Can’t recommend this property enough. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Shelley is an amazing host and her place is fantastic! We were visiting for an event in Boulder and it was an easy 20min drive back and fourth. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and has amazing backyard space. Amenities wise the house has everything you would ever need and then some! Shelley was extremely responsive and was great to work with. Would highly recommend!
