Our gîte is in a 16th-century farm outhouse. In restoring this corn loft, we have taken special care to respect the features of the Alsatian house, e.g. by preserving the beauty of the original building, choosing appropriate colours, applying a limewash finish and using traditional and quality materials.

We have put heart and soul into maintaining the character of the place. And to this authentic touch we have endeavoured to add a high level of comfort.

We have the advantage of being ideally situated in the peaceful village of Epfig, 35 km from Colmar and Strasbourg, in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards and at the foot of the Vosges mountains.

Should you be interested, we shall gladly reveal to you some of the secrets of our Alsace region. We look forward to welcoming you here soon.

Gîte très agréable, propre et bien situé pour les visites entre Colmar et Strasbourg. Excellent accueil. A noter toutefois la présence d'un escalier un peu raide pour accéder au logement en cas de personnes limitée physiquement.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans ce gîte. Tout y est. confort, équipement, bon goût, accueil, très adapté pour notre famille de 6. Même le soleil était là pour découvrir la région !

Wir haben die Zeit in der Wohnung sehr genossen, alles sehr sauber, Küche großzügig bestückt, Bäder modern und die Betten gut. Ein Bett ist 1,40m breit und hat nur eine Bettdecke, das mag nicht jeder, aber da ließe sich mit den Vermietern sicher reden, dass man 2 bekäme, die sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich...

Perfekter Urlaub im urigen und gemütlichen Domizil

Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung mit drei Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern und zwei Toiletten war für uns drei befreundete Ehepaare perfekt. Uns hat die urige Ausstattung und der stilgerechte Ausbau des Hauses sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage in Epfig ist ideal für Ausflüge in die gesamte Region. Restaurants im Ort sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vielen Dank an Familie Klein auch für die guten Ausflug-Tips.

Zentrale Lage im Elsass, liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung

Wir waren die ersten beiden Wochen im August 2018 zu Gast und reisten zu viert an. Wir bewohnten die Wohnung (Les Petits Tisserands) mit den drei Schlafzimmern. Es waren sehr heiße Tage im Freien, wie auch in der Ferienwohnung. Wir wurden vor Ort gut betreut, es fehlte an nichts in der Wohnung. Im Garten / Hof gab es sehr einladende Rückzugsmöglichkeiten zum Lesen und Entspannen. Der Ort Epfig ist im Elsass zentral gelegen, wodurch Ausflüge in alle Richtungen möglich waren. Einzig die Nähe der Kirche, mit dem Läuten der Glocke war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zu unserer Reisezeit war die Durchgangstraße im Ort leider gesperrt, wobei die Umleitung an dem Ferienobjekt vorbei führte. Dieser Umstand sollte aber zwichenzeitlich kein Grund für Lärmbelastungen mehr sein. Zum Baden sind wir wir nach Benfeld, ca. 16 km entfernt zur dortigen Kiesgrube gefahren, was nach Wanderungen und Städtetouren sehr willkommen war. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub und wir können das Objekt wirklich nur weiterempfehlen.
