This villa is breathtaking. It’s huge, much larger than the photos suggest. It was well equipped with everything you would need. Top quality furniture and fittings. We had a super relaxing holiday made all the better by our host Lesley who was super efficient and attentive dealing with a few queries we had. Execellent quiet location too.

Great house for families

Nice, clean, well-stocked house. Fun to watch the boats go under the drawbridge from the pool and patio. Short walk across the bridge to Manasota Beach. Short drive to Blind Pass Beach and park.

Great House and Location and Baby Friendly

We loved this house and it's location. It's got a great view of the inland waterway and drawbridge (and occasional dolphin), it's a 10-minute walk to the ocean beach, and it has a pool and hot tub that were warm enough to enjoy on cooler days. The beach offers free/free-choice ($3-$5 donation) yoga Mon-Fri at 8:30 a.m. (Lou and Katja are great for beginners or more advanced.) We cooked most every night in the full kitchen and we filled the refrigerator from Detwiler's Indoor Farm Market and the Englewood Farmer's Market. This Thursday-only market is the best we've ever visited anywhere. What put this over the top for us this year was that this house has a nice crib and baby supplies. We brought our 10-month old grandson and the house had everything he needed. There is a lot of live music at the many great places to eat outdoors in Englewood. We enjoyed the food and music at the Sand Bar Tiki and Grill just a 12 minutes drive on the Key. We usually rent a new place every time we visit to see new things. This is the rare place we liked so much we might choose it again to see the same things...and discover some new things we couldn't do in just 9 days.

Amazing….. once again!!

6 Crazy Canucks enjoyed this property for a week and our time there was amazing! For my husband and me, this was our 2nd time enjoying this wonderful spot! It was perfect for our family of 10 the last time and it was just as perfect for our group of 6 this time around. There wasn’t one thing we wished to have during our stay and Leslie was very prompt at answering any questions. (She was the last time we stayed here as well!) thank you to the owners for sharing this beautiful spot! We are already looking at the calendar to book it again!!

We had an amazing time here! The house was bigger, better, and more grand than the listing pics showed. The house was beautiful, the pool was great with a great view, and it was really nice to be able to kayak in the bay right from the back of the house. Most certainly recommend this one!

Perfect house for 2 families

We stayed with our friends for a joint family vacation. This house was perfect! Plenty of space and the bedrooms were quiet even if others were awake in the rest of the house. All of the beds were very comfortable, location was beautiful, pool was great. It was very clean and nicely decorated. This was by far one of my favorite rentals and I would definitely stay here again the next time we travel to this area.

Best vacation rental

This house was more beautiful then the pictures . The picturesque views were beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean . The beds were comfortable. Everything here was perfect. We wanted to hang out at the house everyday . Very comfortable. The host was wonderful to deal with. Thank you Lesley for answering all our questions . We have stayed in many rental homes through the years and this by far was the best. We already rebooked for next year .

Incredible Spot!

We stayed here with a couple of friends and we couldn't have found a better place to stay. The secluded location, clean home, spacious pool deck, fantastic outdoor seating, beautiful view and great pool all made our stay just perfect. We would absolutely consider this for future trips!

True Vacation House

We LOVED our stay! The house was wonderful. So comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Leslie was so easy to communicate with and helpful. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space & privacy within the house. The lot is private and quiet. The outside area is peaceful with the perfect amount of opportunity for sun and shade. We all agreed this was by far our favorite VRBO house we have ever stayed in.

This property is perfect.

The house was everything we could of asked for. The way the house was layed out, made everyone feel comfortable. The view was wonderful. The pool was a big win for the kids. It is also 3 minutes to the beach by car. We really enjoyed blind pass beach. It is a little futher but is well worth it. Thanks to Leslie for making this a memorable vacation.

A Slice of Heaven

There are no words for how amazing this house is. From the moment we booked the reservation to the moment we walked out the door it was by far the best experience and one of the our top 3 vacations ever! Let me start by saying the pictures do not do this house justice - the layout is incredible. The seclusion and drive to the house is amazing! So much space, no expense spared throughout the home and every single thing you could possibly need is there. I loved the little labels on everything too :) The pool was refreshing, the beach gorgeous and shark's teeth were plentiful. We will definitely be back to visit next year! My kids are all 18+ and said this was by far their favorite beach vacation ever and that mom "knocked it out of the park" with the house selection! A quick golf cart ride to the beach and able to watch the boats go by under the bridge was a major plus. Did I say AMAZING?? Because it cannot be described any other way! Even better than expected!

The location is a big plus. You can see the drawbridge over the waterway from the pool area. It’s just a short walk to the beach and we are in our 60s. If you need a place to isolate you could never leave here and be very happy. However the area this is in has so many attractions you will not want to miss them. I recorded some of the best sunsets I have seen. 😎🌴💙💜

2 couple get away

We enjoyed our time at Lemon Bay. The house is spacious with open areas and places to isolate. The pool area is enclosed with lots of seating and room to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked, with anything you would need. Loads of towels for bathing and beach/pool are available as well as beach chairs and most anything else you would need. The boats drift by all day long and the sunset is available each evening from the pool area. Manasota Key is beautiful with lush canopied trees along the roadway and restaurants are within a few miles. We contacted Lesley with a couple of questions before we arrived and while we were there. She responded quickly and accommodated our requests.

BEAUTIFUL PRIVATE HOME

Our vacation was wonderful thanks to the Florida sunshine and this beautiful home! We had three couples with more than enough room. I was in love the first time I entered the home! It was like we each had our own wing. Everything was there for us to use from the beach chairs & coolers to 4 fishing kayaks. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware and even spices. The location is ideal and very private. Just a short walk or bike ride over the bridge to Manesota public Beach. I would definitely recommend this home for adults or families with children.

We enjoyed a restful week at this lovely property. Home was perfect for 3 couples,enjoyed time in the pool and visited several restaurants in town as well as in Venice. Short distance from the beach was great for those collecting seashells, there were tons! You couldn't help but enjoy your time here!!

Great spot for a family and group of 8. Beautiful location and a beautiful home.

Equipped with everything you may need. Very clean. Nice walk to Manasota Beach. Our group of 8 adults and 2 babies had a wonderful time and never felt cramped. We would certainly plan another stay here in the future.
