BEWARE. This is an inaccurate web description. The property description says this is a luxurious home fit for royalty. What you will actually find is a FILTHY home with beautiful mountain views. It had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. I spent my vacation CLEANING. I had to wash sheets in order to sleep the first night (there were crumbs, hairs, animal debris, and even an sock BETWEEN the sheets) so at 11:30 on our first night I was washing sheets. We also had to clean the kitchen in order to cook. It was filthy (see photos). The sofa is so stained we had to cover it with blankets just to be able to sit on it (see photos). There is no fire pit, no “stocked chef’s kitchen with granite counters” (the counters are spray painted some sort of faux finish that makes your utensils stick to them), the pool table (which is the main picture on the listing) is falling apart.
We should have left but we were far from home and it was a holiday weekend so there were not other options for our party of 10 to find late at night. When we reached out to the host (a property management company), she was very apologetic but she didn’t DO anything. She did not offer any compensation even though we provided numerous photos. She kept saying she'd "reach out to the team and get back" to me, but never with any actual customer service. I have a long list of grievances that I provided to VRBO but up until this moment I am still negotiating with VRBO to get help.
