Well, first; the outer door to our “lodge” didn’t lock. Then, the first thing we saw in our room was the space heater. There was a 2 inch gap under our room door; we had to lay the ironing board across so you couldn’t see in from outside. The heater was broken on so it was either a constant rainforest or freezing. The free breakfast consisted of bread and bagels( there’s a toaster) yogurt, a gallon jug of milk and cereal. In the room, our coffee pot had no lid and we had only decaf.

The owner was nice, but this place needs major updates asap. I had issues with both the shower (either BURNING hot or freezing cold) and my outlet that the heater was plugged in to started burning (with smoke and smelled terrible). Supposedly there was a cancellation so I was moved into another room, but prior to that I wasn't offered anything (discount, apology, whatever) and it was over $150/night. I was pretty shocked that nothing was offered given the circumstances.

Staff was fine, the room could use some work. The tub had all of the porcelain chipping off in huge sections, the shower head was mostly plugged with hard water scale, the light switch by the door didnt work any of the lights. The steps to the office are literally falling apart and the accessibility ramp is closed. Hopefully they can invest in the property soon.

Check in staff not informative of any amenities such as breakfast. Chalet cute on outside but inside...full kitchen with NO SUPPLIES except 2 spoons, many dirty cups, 3 plates, no pans, no sponges, dish towels or papertowels, no broom or dust pan, rugs at entrance threadbear and stained with salt, unable to lock deadbolt, did not match door.. then the bedding.. dirty box springs, beds became concave when sitting on them.. the bathroom had a hole in the shower body...I would not recommend this to anyone! -5 star!

The shower head needs to be cleaned. It seems as though no one ever checks to make sure that they are clean. Also breakfast only starts at 8 and we never get anything because we have to be somewhere by 7:30.

We stayed in one of the main lodge, room 504 to be exact. Let's see: - Building is very outdated. Old decor, main entry door didn't lock as it should, interior had old musky smell to it. - Carpets worn out, dirty, walls, doors all needed painting or fixed and overall just feel damp and dingy. Entire building needs serious repairs and upgrades. Room 504 (where we stayed). - Same musky damp feel and smell - Old carpeting - Old decor, bedding is brown in color - Extremely outdated interior (from the 80s) - Windows very drafty and let cold air in. I had to turn the heat to 80 to feel warm - Small maybe 27" TV on an old dresser. - Bathroom sink leaked when turned on. - Shower has mildew and water damage stain on ceiling. Cheap plastic shower curtain. - Overall room is just dated and need serious remodeling Breakfast - Advertised 'buffet' breakfast. What a joke! - Breakfast consists of a few cereal choices, basic juices, some bread, bagel. I didn't see any eggs, omelet, or any other kind of meat or hot food at all. I took one look and left to go to a restaurant instead. Overall, - Very disappointed. DON'T STAY HERE!

This place is definitely well located, walking distance from restaurants and bars and the beds are comfortable. But customer service is not a priority, front desk personnel had a bad attitude, maintenance wise, the hotel requires a lot of work and you can see poorly work done everywhere, stairs, roof, paint, caulking, pluming , etc.

A warm and cozy room to come back to just one mile away from the ski resort! Perfect spot to stay and bounce around town on foot. Parking was a bit tricky for a busy weekend, but would definitely stay again!

Our room was dirty upon arrival (scraps of food all over floor around the bed). We notified the front desk and they said they would send someone to clean. After someone was sent there were still crumbs all over the floor. Shower was also difficult to use as it was either extremely hot or extremely cold. Would not stay again.
