Proximity to downtown and a great outdoor fire pit setting.

Old but well cared for. It's within walking distance of the downtown area which is nice.

Front desk lady was so accommodating...pool was excellent...just simply perfect.. I would recommend the rooms on second floor above office , they have awesome balconies to sit out on❤️ Will stay again for sure❤️

nice hotel close to ski lifts but still in town. Very friendly staff. Clean, convenient place.

Very nice place next to the ski lifts. Clean, friendly, affordable.

This place is in dire need of a serious update. The decor is horrible, but what's worse is that the place is dirty - dark mold in the bathroom/shower tiles; dank carpeting; dust/cobwebs throughout; questionable bed linens and blankets; old/yucky fridge. There was no coffee in the room, but a used maker was stuffed up above the fridge, which was in the bathroom?! Despite there being an old plastic chair outside of the room on the deck, it was not even usable because it was literally covered in cobwebs and really, the place is far more fit for a family of spiders and other insects than people. Dare to go into the basement for coffee/breakfast... it is out of a 1980s horror flick and the "coffee" was merely brown water. I cannot understand how it is possible this place is still in business and/or how people would ever continue to pay the outrageous rates for the grossest rooms I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Oh, and dead bugs in the swimming pool to boot. I entered my room one afternoon and it appeared someone had come in to "pick up" or whatever passes for cleaning and haphazardly left a pile of towels on the chair by the desk. Clean, dirty? Your guess is as good as was mine. What else can I say? I wish I could get my money back; it was the most expensive mistake I have made traveling. Buyer beware!

We spent a couple of nights at the Edelweiss over Memorial Day weekend. Staff were very nice, on arrival we were upgraded to a larger room than we'd booked.

Location to downtown Ellicottville was perfect! It was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Love the room and the staff was very good. I love I could walk around town. Very nice

Everything is fine for a one night stay. No problems.

Edelweiss Lodge was Great! Located 2 blocks from the main street in Ellicottiville it's a short walk to anything the town has to offer aaaaand it's only a mile from the slopes at Holiday Valley! #winwinsituation

We were in Ellicottville for a birthday party. The staff at the desk were OK. Housecleaning was terrific. The rooms were large. Some of our party had a large 3-BR suite which was perfect for child care during the party.

It was a really cute place. Our bathroom had just been updated and looked great. The room was a little dark and there were some features that really needed to be updated. Overall I was very happy. Cute pool/firepit area as well and in a great location.

Arrived on a Thursday and was able to get right into our room by noon because it was already available, nice. Large size room in the back lodge bldg. King bed and 2 chairs, plenty of room for 2. Nice clean bathroom, a small fridg/freezer and coffee maker. Continental breakfast both mornings. I would recommend this lovely place. Walking distance to town and all the Ellicottville shops, bars and restaurants. Skiing at Holiday Valley and Holimont is right up the street.
