Econo Lodge Ellensburg Near University

No ice bucket, or ice maker found. No hair dryer, no glasses or cups, no coffee maker. Advertised free breakfast was poorly stocked. Rooms extremely small. Room smelled moldy. Curtains where everyone walked by would not close completely. Luckily we only slept there and showered in morning. Trucks constantly noisy coming and going in vacinity of motel.

It's not a 5 star - but the price is not 5 star either. Good place to crash for the night while on a long drive.

can't expect much more from a this location. Fast internet

Probably one of the best staffs I've ever encountered at a Econo Lodge! The really did want to make our stay, with them, a great one!

It is an old building just off I-90, but it is in good repair; the rooms were small but set up nicely. The air conditioner and refrigerator worked fine, which was very welcome given the 90+ heat. The continental breakfast was what you would expect -- coffee, juice, toast, fruit -- but everything was fresh and the temperature it should be. The staff was friendly and made suggestions for places to have dinner. I only stayed one night, so I cannot speak about housekeeping, but the room was clean when I got there. All in all, a good value.

Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean but a little smaller than I pictured. The bed was comfortable. They are right next to a great coffee and breakfast caffe. I would definitely stay there again. The price was good for my budget.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was clean. The only negative things I would say is that the beds are pretty hard & room was a bit crowded with dresser and desk. Overall a nice visit though!

Way to expensive for this type of accommodation. We got in late and they had already given away all of the lake view rooms. Even though I paid for an upgrade, they made no adjustment to the pricing. I asked to speak to management and was told they were off for the next 2 days and didn't really care that I was unhappy. The room smelled like cigarettes and was in major need of renovating. The TV was super old, had broken buttons and the remote didn't work. I could go on but I'll just say I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Our first room was checked out to someone else. We discovered this when we went in the room and saw the construction materials and stuff in there. Back to the desk and got a new room which also had someone's stuff in it. Had to go to the desk again to get a new room.

The pictures on the website were showed bigger rooms. My stayed wasn't pleasant at all.

We booked a one night stay and asked for a room on the second floor facing the lake. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The view of the lake was spectacular - especially when the sun came up in the morning. The breakfast was a typical continental affair. The staff was friendly and responsive. Overall - we had a swell time there. For all you haters out there, yes the rooms are a little dated, but you can always stay down the road for more than twice as much if you need newer furniture.
