The facilities were very adequate. The house was very clean. The river view was spectacular and we enjoyed watching the barges traveling up and down the river. Would definitely recommend it.

Peaceful and quiet

Great location for taking a break and enjoying the river views. The kitchen was well stocked, we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and just relaxing with family.

My family thoroughly enjoyed the River House. We loved being on the River and spent lots of time in the hot tub. We would definitely go back.

My family of four used this place as our base to explore the Shawnee National Forest. It was a perfect location and the house was wonderful.

Perfect

We were looking for a comfy, large and beautiful location for a friends getaway for hiking and boards game and this was perfect. Kitchen was well-stocked and plenty of sleeping space for a group of 8 adults!

Private and relaxing

We enjoyed 4 nights and 5 days of rest and relaxation. Fully stocked kitchen to cook /bake prepare our meals. Easy to relax. Spectacular views!! We would stay again.

Best cabin ever

We loved our stay at this cabin. Jill was a great host who was super understanding and helpful with our family. The Ohio river view is phenomenal. The kitchen was well stocked and there were a lot of very nice touches to the property. It's a very isolated property which is a good thing.

River House was lovely

We really enjoyed our time at River House. 5 adults, 5 kids and lots of space. Such a peaceful location - quiet and secluded. Hot tub and fire pit was great. This house had so many little, unexpected ‘extras’ - highly recommend.

Riverhouse Weekend

Perfect for a friends getaway. Property was in great condition. Loved sitting on the large deck watching boats go by on the river. Hot tub at night was a must. 5 stars!!

Absolutely gorgeous property right on the Ohio River. So peaceful. Lots of great hiking nearby. What a treat to sit out on the spacious deck and relax. Hot tub and fire pit were a huge plus. House is spacious and very comfortable. We would love to come back.

A fun get away

Our whole family had a great time at the Shawnee National Forest. It was our first trip with everyone. The house was perfect - plenty of room for the 11 of us comfortably and was kept up nicely. When we get back down that way, we'll see if this house is available.

ON RIVER TIME

Great property and friendly service. We had so much fun. It will always be a special place, our dear friend got engaged on our annual “camping”trip. We all had so much and enjoyed the area.

Best vacation

We spent thanksgiving weekend here. Made thanksgiving dinner. I think the whole vibe made this holiday one of our best ones yet. The house was so cozy and fitting for the holidays. Jill made us feel very welcome. I would definitely book another holiday here. We had a great time! The River and the stars was amazing.

Great cabin with nice views

Pictures dont give the place justice. We were a group of friends, we really enjoyed our stay, the place is very isolated, no houses around. Jill was great with communication before and during our stay, we used the hut tub every night, weather was great in June and we were surprised that there were no mosquitoes. Overall, would definitely recommend the place

A Welcomed Retreat.

The Riverhouse was a welcomed retreat from our busy lives. The home was beautiful, and the river was peaceful. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of five, and everything we could possibly need was there. Jill did a great job communicating with us, and all our questions were answered in the welcome packet.

Secluded and beautiful view!

Beautiful home! Deck with plenty of chairs, also a screened in patio in case of rain. Most comfortable beds ever! Fully stocked kitchen with newer appliances, great pots and pans, wine glasses and every utensil you need. Good shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, plenty of towels. Love our stay abd hope to go back soon. Everything was perfect!

River house

It was so relaxing sitting on the deck watching the river and listening to the birds. The house was close to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed seeing all the deer. The house was clean. We also enjoyed the screened in porch. There was plenty of room outside for all the activities we wanted to do.

E-Town River House

The property is beautiful and secluded, with hundreds of acres to roam. Wonderful view of the Ohio River from the huge deck. The home is immaculate, perfectly stocked with more than just the essentials. We used this as a base-camp for hiking in the Shawnee National Forest. Can't wait to return next year. Thanks Jill!

Great House Near Shawnee National Forest

Jill's place is amazing. Very remote and peaceful with stunning views of the river. Close to Shawnee National Forest and plenty of room for frisbee and other lawn games. The house was better than the pictures and had plenty of room for our group of 6. We loved the easy to use fire place and the kitchen had everything you could need! Even though this place is remote, the wifi was really strong and we had cell service the whole time. Jill was super responsive to questions. Would highly recommend it.
