Very beautiful property. Private. Horses were a bonus. Near several attractions. We’re from a more urban area so the only thing we didn’t love about the area is food and groceries were farther away than we are used to but that’s just the area. Host was accommodating. Next time I’d come more prepared to make more meals at the home. Garden of the Gods and Rim Rock were great!

This pet-friendly house was perfect for our group! Plenty of space to spread out, the bedrooms were separated by more than a wall, everything was clean and comfortable, and the yard was great! Our host was very quick to respond and available if we needed anything.

Had a great stay at Prarie House. Lots of room to spread out, comfy beds thick towels,super clean, responsive host, firepit, big sky, quiet-no traffic, everything we needed in kitchen, it was perfect!

Shawnee Forest vacation

We are usually looking for something secluded when we vacation. This property was prefect for that. It was neat, clean and comfortable. Prefect location for visiting Garden of the gods and other sites close by.

Furst Trip to Shawnee

Nice family getaway near Shawnee National Forest

This is a great location if you want to hike Shawnee National Forest (Garden of the Gods, etc.). Spacious house, surrounded by fields and cows, and even within walking distance to one trail. We'll be going back!
