not work and the grill was dirty we had to use a lighter to get it started, and we cleaned the grill before and after use. A few days after checkout I received an email that a claim was made on our stay that the stove needed to be replaced (1,500). We purchased the property protection insurance and the email said we were covered and not responsible. Then I received an email from the insurance company that stated it was the glass top that was scratched. We used the stovetop one time with their pans and none of the guest who stayed during our visit are aware of any glass scratching that occurred. Had any damage been caused by us, we would have reported it immediately. I don’t recall whether the stove top had any existing scratches upon our arrival because I unfortunately did not take any pictures of the stove but if we would have promptly notified the owner if we had caused any damage. The stove claim was odd to us but at least we purchased the protection. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
