The worst customer service my family and I experienced ever! We are travelling 5 times a year and 3 out of 5 to the beach resorts, I could definitely say that this one gonna be your worst choice. First thing we faced, after a long road from Cannes is that check-in was at 15:00, we came earlier and waited for an hour, when enter the room at 15:00 the room was still cleaning. Another minus is toilet in the room, it was smelling like someone go to the toilet straight on the floor, but maybe it's because of the material the floor done, because near restaurant it smells the same. Even though this is a beach hotel and reception will tell you that you can take the sunbed early morning, in order not to pay for that, you will face the Mustafa, this person is just aggressive, two-faced and making the conflicts always. Today he just through our towels when we went to the sea for 5 min and gave out sunbeds to other family! We wanted to figure it out with manager in the reception, since here is no other managers and, unfortunately, till now there is no solution! We are shocked and confused. When manager tried to talk with this person, he was still aggressive and told us that he is boss and manager here and he doesn't care about the hotel rules. Even tho this person wear le Meridien uniform. Don't come here, we use to have vocation in Lloret de mar and wanted to change our destination and regret about that a lot!

Service was great, property was clean. Rooms were quite spartan but had lovely views. The spa was excellent. Not a fan of buffets so we didn't really eat on property except the beach restaurant. Healthy and varied options.

A definite family visit, we were welcomed very kindly and efficiently by the courteous staff. The whole building is airy and from the reception area you already get a feel of something somewhat more Caribbean. The rooms are spacious enough and will accommodate two adults and one child in an adjacent bed very comfortably. Food is pretty good, although a tad expensive value-for-money at the à la carte restaurant, but between the daily changing menus at the main buffet and dining restaurant, and the lunchtime beach venue and poolside grill, all but the most demanding will find something on the menu to whet their appetite. Spa-seekers are welcome and there is a full-function deluxe spa at this ex beachside sanatorium! The nearby town of Calafell is not exactly a cultural hub, but you will find ice cream parlors, restaurants and supermarkets aplenty, a few places to go to Mass, and some Roman ruins all within a short drive or even a medium walk. Those seeking sun in the summer be warned: the sun is seriously hot during the summer. That said, the beaches are huge and the sand lovely. The water is warm though still refreshing and in general, everything is clean. All in all, for a destination a mere 35 min from Barcelona, worth the visit.

We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the property and staff. Our recently renovated room overlooking the beach was amazing. The staff went the extra mile, and we enjoyed talking with them at the Wednesday cocktail hour. The kids club was also very nice & had a great staff. We rented a car in Barcelona and parked it on the street outside the hotel without any issues. A few quibbles: the pool deck is decent but not amazing (we spent much more time at the beach); the wifi login stopped working because we had so many devices; the town of Calafell is not super luxurious or exciting. Otherwise, everything was perfect - thank you!

We had a fantastic 3-days holidays, spa facilities are the best I've ever been, restaurants are excellent, D.O. deserving a Michelin star, Beach Club a perfect place for informal lunch when relaxing at the beach or a glamorous dinner at night when they organize dinner events in this location, and staff in all hotel, what to say! ... they are the exemple of customer-service excelence

We came back for a repeat visit this summer because we had such a great time last year. I did not think the hotel could exceed our expectations but it was even better the second time! The rooms had been updated and looked beautiful. There were many more kid-friendly activities in the hotel and at the beach, our 7, 12, and 14 year olds loved the pool scuba, beach soccer, and art workshop. We enjoyed the hotel bikes to visit the town and loved the spa. The staff are super pleasant and helpful and the food is wonderful. Hope to have a chance to return!

Beautiful hotel at the best. Great facilities and rooms, but service is far from 5 star. We had some issues with room, and it took very long time to fix the problem. Breakfast was mediocre, and food was at all restaurants overpriced and not high quality.

This is a fantastic place to rest, to take care of our self and recover energy. There's always a sense of peace and calm, even knowing that the hotel was almost full. The staff was fantastic, always available and giving more than we asked. And, the fact that the hotel is in the beach, and never ending beach, with the hotel facilities in it, it feels like a private hotel beach. Finally, you a wide offer of restaurants , snack bars, ... just minutes walking.

The beach itself is fabulous and the hotel service and facilities at the beach excellent. Otherwise the hotel was a disappointment . The check in process was cold and on leaving there was a delay locating our car for which nobody apologised. Parking is €25 a day despite being in a remote location. The rooms are adequate but not of a standard one would reasonably expect.

The grounds are pretty and well landscaped. There are nice views from most of the rooms. Architecture is modern and quite inviting. The management is subpar. We made several requests for hotel reservations, taxis, etc. that were either forgotten or botched. They staff just really isn't on the ball, though they are all pleasant and polite. The resort charges €20 per day for parking as well as a €14 per day resort fee, on top of various fees and other taxes. Half of my €600 bill was various fees we didn't quite understand. Moreover, they double charged me for parking on two days which I luckily caught as an error. Now this is where I get annoyed with them. While reviewing the bill, there was a random donation made to UNICEF. I have no problem making a donation but I wasn't even asked. It was just added to my bill among the other charges. The food is lousy. Frozen pizza, frozen chicken nuggets. It's really pathetic. I don't recommend it.
