Wonderful spot. The Suite was clean and spacious. The bed was comfy and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! It was cold and windy outside so the 24/7 hot chocolate and coffee were much appreciated!

Had a great stay at the Newport Resort! I was very clean, quiet and the suite was spacious and had a porch area which my my husband and I loved to sit out on and enjoy the view and a glass of wine. It was very walkable to downtown Egg Harbor with many restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked 5 suites for our family trip. It worked out great for each family to have their own space. All 12 grandkids greatly enjoyed the 2 pools. We had a great vacay! My only complaint is that the property has seen some hard use. Little things like holes in the walls and woodwork and sticking doors and dresser drawers could use some attention. Also, the lobby was decorated beautifully and I’d love to see more accent colors like that in the suites! A few hooks on the bath and bedroom walls would be helpful too. Towel bars were awkward and the towels were bunched up and didn’t dry very well. It’s the little things….😊

Rooms vary. Ours was pretty outdated. We had family staying in other rooms and theirs seemed in better condition. Our rooms air conditioning was very loud, it needs updating. The shower and bath need replacing, mildew. Housekeeping does not enter your room, not a full service resort. Common areas are nice.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, with a pullout couch. Thankfully we didn’t have to sleep on the couch because when we tried it for a movie night, we realized the mattress should’ve been thrown away YEARS ago. The bedroom mattresses were awful as well. Although the resort is advertised as having AC (room units only), our second bedroom only had a ceiling fan which didn’t cut it when it was in the 90s outside. Unfortunately, the bathrooms weren’t any better - they felt so dingy with pink rings in the sink and what looked like mold in the showers. One of the showers was inside of a jacuzzi tub, but the shower curtain didn’t fit and it made a terrible mess with the water. The “resort” looked well maintained from the outside but we were very disappointed by the inside. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to our friends and family and we’d certainly never stay here again.
