The room was in good condition, the staff were very helpful. My comment is that the bed was not comfortable. It was not firm, it was like sleeping in a hammock. I was not happy with the bed, and would not want a room with a bed of this age and use.

It was very noisy up to 1-2 am. Notified front desk several times. The walls are thin. Backdoor broken, so someone entered the building (not sure they were a guest) glad I had lock on my door, not secure at all.

Found the check in staff a little abrupt. Not a redeeming quality for a front line employee!! Our room did not have night stands on both sides of the beds? When I asked about this and why there was no drinking water in our room we did not recieve a satifactory reply, only that it was not the top of the line for this chain. We were comped a bottle of water after paying 5 dollars for two cans of pop. While this is not Best Westerns high end hotel we expect a full compliment of bedroom furniture at the least. Bottled water is not an unreasonable expectation at this price range. We have stayed here several times over the years but found it a little noisey this trip. We will try another hotel next time we travel through Edmunston. We found what appeared to be a silverfish running around on the floor in the morning. Not comforting knowing our clothes and suit case could be easily accessed by these invasive pests where they could stow away and or lay eggs! I have a video of our intruder.....

Room was ice cold, heating would not work. Called room service which sent someone quickly. The problem seemed to be common as the maintenance technician seemed to know right away what the problem was, and fixed it rapidly. We left the room to warm up and went to dinner at a nice restaurant which was suggested by the front desk. Later that night,or rather in the morning. 5:45am the fire alarm battery ran out and started chirping. We got up and had breakfast, which was excellent. Beds are comfortable room was clean and well appointed. Would probably stay there again .

Staff: Why would you hire someone who can barely speak English to greet your customers? Her accent was so strong, I didn't know what she was saying. I had to call my friend over to listen and he didn't know what she was saying. If the employee can't be bothered to take an ESL class upon arriving in Canada, why should I have to strain to try to understand her lazy attempt at English? That doesn't make sense. Room: The toilet kept running. We left around 1pm to go shopping, eat and then to the casino for a few hours. Upon leaving, I told the front desk that the toilet keeps running and he said they would have someone go up to fix it. We came back around 9pm, not thinking about the toilet, and went to bed. The toilet kept us up all night. Room: The fridge froze all of my pops. When I took one out, opened it and placed it on the end table, the pop slowly expanded and leaked all over the table, my phone and my paperwork. Amenities: The hot tub wasn't hot. It was lukewarm. It felt like I was sitting in a warm bath, not a hot tub.
