I was stuck on the highway during a winter storm that turned whiteout, which caused a 4 hour delay in even being able to move one hour on the highway!
I normally stop at this location whenever I pass through driving from the Summer home in NS and Ontario.
I reached out to the property to inquire about if anything can be done. I am not bothered about no refund.
What has changed my opinion about this establishment was the lack of communication or even response.
When I stayed there going into NS. The front desk person, spoke French to me (which is fine as that area is a majority French) however I mentioned that I spoke English. The front desk person corrected themselves for a moment. Then continued giving me a response in French.
Not sure if there was a change in staff, that was my first encounter with just a very anti-english experience.
My family has stayed at this Days in multiple times at different times for years.
Perhaps across the street at the Quality Inn may be a different experience.
