This was the worst hotel that we stayed in. The desk agent was smoking outside when we pulled up with another worker. The desk agent wasn't at all pleasant. He didn't point out any highlights of the hotel. When we came out to get our luggage there was the other worker looking inside our truck. Very disturbing. The room was hot and the temperature wouldn't go down. We had the window open all night. The supplied breakfast was mediocre at best. We asked for syrup for our sausages and was told that would be an extra charge. It wasn't included in the breakfast. When we checked out, the agent asked how our stay was and I said it was "okay". She never asked what the issues were or anything. On our way back instead of staying here again, we stayed at the Ramada across the street. I won't ever stay at that hotel again. We stayed in 4 different hotels on our vacation and this was the worst hotel.
I was just disappointed that there was no yogurt at the breakfast. The service was good and the people were friendly
It was alright, it wasn't great I slipped in the shower and almost died, it seemed like they did the bare minimum for the price I paid such as the breakfast buffet it was so greasy. I probably won't stay again there are better hotels to go to for the same price
Upon entering the lobby it seemed like a nice hotel. The one staff member on duty was friendly but gave us very little information about our stay except to point out that we had to stay both nights in order to get the discounted rate. The room was as represented, that is until we walked into the bathroom! The floor was actually slimy - we had to wear shoes when using it. We left a tip for the person cleaning the room in hopes that it would be rectified. It was not. The tub was so slippery we could not shower safely. Our room was not vacuumed, we didn't get any clean glasses, and our bed was just thrown together. Very unprofessional! That is why I will NEVER stay there again!
Room was clean; beds were amazingly comfy; Front Desk staff efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. Location is excellent. A 'free' breakfast was included which was just awful! The sausages were obviously seeing the light of day for the second time; the eggs although they were indeed yellow, there endeth any actual resemblance to anything that might have even met a chicken let alone who came first!. The juices were watered down and if you are hoping to start your day in the light, the restaurant resembles a tomb at midnight!
I frequently go to Edmonton for overnight stays and the only place I stay is at the Days Inn on the west side. The rooms are always clean. I like the fact that they have 3 different pillows for your comfort. Also like the hot breakfast that is held in the restaurant.
Pros: -Fresh 3 hot items for complementary breakfast buffet. -Large indoor Pool. -Large rooms (high ceiling). -Delicious food at Lounge restaurant Cons: -Unprofessional front desk staff. -Broken vending machine on 3rd floor(bottle water is same price as pop $2.25). -No tea just coffee in rooms (no sugar or cream was included). -Stains on mattress sheet -Expensive pricing in Lounge restaurant. -The LOUDEST heater/fan in room(had to turn the heat off and sleep in a cold room). -VERY loud fridge(woke up so many times to it running).
Checked into the hotel. Was there on medical reasons for appointments. Went to crawl into bed to find out that the duvet was all ripped apart and housekeeping and left it that way. Took a picture of it and showed the front desk when I checked out early in the morning and they just said they would talk to housekeeping no discount or anything off my room.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. We were in a king bed room. The AC unit is central air and it was nice having a thermostat and not having the unit right next to the bed like other hotels that can be loud and can tend to blast cold air right on you. The hot breakfast was delicious, but it was the same food all 3 days. A little variety would be nice. Very easy to get to West Edmonton Mall from the hotel, just a quick drive. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend to my friends.
I would like to share this story as it ruined my family vacation. Nasty Please Avoid if you are Wyndham Member This "hotel" is by far the worst place I have ever stayed at .I found bed bugs in my room wonder why i couldn't sleep all night . I notified the staff at the front desk even provided " live evidence"- a bed bug in a clear plastic bag. I received no apologies at all We ask we wants to speak with manager he told us please take business card & my manager only work monday to friday telling us to contact the manager which after weekend. This was absolutely the most disgusting, the NASTIEST place I have stayed in all my travels around the world (both 1st and 3rd world). Just nasty and filthy. Hygiene and cleanliness of the room was well below standards, even for a dive motel. I would have sooner slept upright in our car on the side of road, we would have got a better rest and felt more secure for our health and safety.
