We were booked for the NYX having stayed in the one at London Holborn and loving it.,We were disappointed to learn the NYX in Edinburgh was not open and we would be accommodated in the Leonardo Royal next door. The hotel was ok but not what we were expecting having booked a new modern hotel. The rooms were extremely warm with one of our rooms aircon not working resulting in poor sleep. We were advised drinks vouchers would be provided however there was no sign of these. While the staff were very pleasant sadly our stay was a disappointing experience compared to what we had booked and expected.

We didn’t end up staying at the nyx as the hotel was still under construction, but we were automatically moved to the Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh, which was a lovely hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful in booking a transfer to the hotel for an early flight out and the hotel was close to many sights in Edinburgh.

The hotel hadn’t opened. We hadn’t been notified of the delay. If we hadn’t arrived on the Friday we wouldn’t have known where to go as there weren’t any staff in over the weekend

Hotel isn't open as it is still under construction, money was taken, got to the hotel late on Friday night to find that the hotel was closed. Had no hotel and no refund. It has been extremely upsetting and hassle to try and get a refund.

Excellent staff who made our stay really comfortable. Was traveling with kids and they made it super easy throughout the whole stay. Memorable experience and if I’m ever back in Edinburgh, I would stay here!

I did not in fact stay at Nyx, but the Leonardo next door. Nyx had not yet opened and no one told me or notified me I would in fact be staying at a different hotel. We came earlier, but had we arrived later on I would probably not have accidentally met some of the future staff at Nyx to find out the situation. They didn’t seem to care at all about this and just nonchalantly said sorry. The Leonardo however was lovely and I really recommend! Friendly and helpful staff, clean, safe and modern.
